First visit since lockdown, and had a lovely meal. Fish, battered sausage and chicken, all with chips, and all absolutely delicious! The chips had also been checked for any black bits etc. which is something you hardly see anymore, so I was very impressed. Great coronavirus protection measures in place, and it was lovely to see helpful, happy staff. Will definately be going back again. Thank you.

It's alright, but twice now I got home to find that they've got the order wrong, and the fish is half the size of other chippies. The chips were okay but a little on the firm side. Chicken was dry, overcooked.

Plus they charge ten pence for a plastic bag, it's the only takeaway that I know that does this, everywhere else they exercise their exemption.

Ok, not the best & not the worst, fish is on the small side. Staff nice

Would recommend this chip shop the fish was delicious and the batter was perfect and the chips as well. Perfect meal

Could run my diesel engine on the excess oil from the fish alone the chips need to have been cooked don't waste your money

Lovely little local chip shop. Great food and friendly service and staff. My families go to place for a weekly chippy tea.

Wow and Yum! Beautiful light batter on lovely cod. Perfectly cooked chips too. The curry sauce is the best Ive ever tasted. Shall be using this as my go to chippy from now on.

Highfield fisheries served really good food to takeaway.
People working there were friendly and patient.
Chips portions could have been a little bigger - ordered 2 large and they seemed smaller than expected, but tasted good.
Would go again if I ever fancied a fish and chips.
