Wingerworth Fish Bar

Now this is a must. Yes it's a normal fish and chip take away but the staff / owners are great my usual orders are either fish or a pizza with a tray of salad for each order I love the fish or the pizza and the boss loves there salad so happy wife happy life. The staff are very nice always got a smile

Great local chip shop. Plenty of choice and good deals on the food as well. The pizzas are very nice and also very well priced. Only downside is there is often a long wait due to the systems they use and only making the food once it was been ordered. Easily fixed by ringing up and ordering 10 minutes before going.

This place has definitely improved recently, the food is cooked fresh and portion sizes are very good. Sometimes give you a freebie when getting close to closing time! The cod is probably my favourite thing on the menu and the chips are very nice too. I think that reducing the size of the menu was a smart move as the overall quality of the usual items has increased significantly! Keep up the good work fellas!

Been living in the area for 10 years . Been 3 times every time iv been I have not been impressed and every time I said to the wife ..... Never again! . Small portions,over priced ,latest visit the worst . Will not go again . Sorry to say but they let the village down ,I look forward to a new chippy in the village to open in the future .

Cod was huge and Absolutely lovely,I'm only staying in the area for a couple of days but would gladly travel from Birmingham to eat from here again

Love this place. The fish are such a good size & the batter is perfectly crispy! Pretty sure it gets better every time I go. Found somewhere that doesn't do anaemic chips!
