Well run with efficient staff. Place looked clean and modern however I didn’t like the chips and neither did my wife. I also didn’t like my steak and kidney pie, just the flavour was not to my taste but that’s probably just me because I normally have just steak pies. Wife’s Cod was better she said it was a 7/10 with crispy batter lacking flavour and Cod flesh was ok not mushy.

Heard good things about this place and by the people waiting outside it looked popular..however the food was cold when I drove home not even 5 minutes away. I was disappointed was hoping for good things I'm not put off as such I would like to try it again and hope it was just a one off.

Best fish and chips bar none, nice crispy batter on the fish, plenty of chips (even on small portion), and the best burgers I've had. Keep up the good work and hope you can carry on in these hard times, well done!

£4.10 for a "large" chips that'd feed one person, three kids working the front, ten minute wait even though empty.... Dont let anyone tell you chip shop owners are having a hard time when they have brand new Mercs parked out the back. Absolute clowns.

£4.10 for a large chips, that came in a single, tiny bag. Brand new Mercs parked out back and kids doing all the work..... Says everything about em. Stick to Polats. Far better, reasonably priced portions.

All the fish is cooked fresh - well worth the slight wait. Staff are friendly, helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. Mushy peas are not to my taste, but other than that highly recommended!

The food, delicious delicious, DELICIOUS, cod bites were fresh with lovely batter - SCRUMPTIOUS! We decided to try the gourmet burgers, BEST burgers we have had in a long time ! - just mouth wateringly delicious, Chips were perfectly fried and side dishes were all very tasty! Just wish we lived closer as we live quite far away from this amazing Fish Bar, but looking forward to the next time we are in the area as we will certainly stop over for some more delicious food, the owners have also redone the store and it looks very clean and smart, the food is value for money and the owners are incredibly nice people as well as their staff - highly recommend this take away!!

First visit and the fish was absolutely delicious. Served very quickly. Good value for money. I enjoyed the chips but hubby said not quite "chip shop chips" for him. Will certainly revisit.
