Merchants Fish Bar

We thought the food was lovely. The attitude of the one young girl who took our order was disgusting. Someone else had to get our cutlery as she couldn't be bothered. She spoke to my partner like he was a piece of dirt on her shoe she asked him if he had asked permission to move a chair as there were 5 of us. It was either because we were new to the place or because of our tattoos. Her behaviour was disgusting we definitely won't be going again

Absolutely amazing experience, we ordered for takeaway yesterday (24-09-2022) we ordered 14 meals and they were not fazed by this at all. The server just kindley asked if we could wait outside and they will call when the order was ready, not even 10 mins later the order was brought out and was spot on. I had the gluten free cod and chips, the portion was massive and was the best GF battered cod and chips I've ever had. (What an amazing GF menu they have)

I am from the states and have been pursuing good fish and chips for a long time in different countries at last proper fish and chips. The wifey and daughter loved them as well as I. Very impressed with the hard working crew they were outstanding. Will be there tomorrow...thanks again to the great staff.

I am now a regular customer to Merchants, Bewdley. I travel from Bearwood. Excellent Fish, Chips and Curry sauce. Quality food and so tasty and the portions are plentiful. I have never been disappointed!...A+++

Really great food, with lovely staff. We take our boy here for fish and chips occasionally as he loves fish and chips by the river. Will continue to visit when we can.

Had battered chips, cod and mushy peas.

Cod - tastiest one I've tried in ages, and large indeed
Mushy peas - generous amount, warm enough and tasty as well
Battered chips - crunchy, tasty and in generous amount as well

Pretty clean eating space, same as toilets.

Service is quick, everyone very polite and welcoming

I like how the shop doesn't try to squeeze dining tables next to each other in order to host more people and leaves enough space in between, even if it's a bit cozy in size.

Used the take away for fish and chips. Super friendly staff, delicious food and perfect size portions. Parking in Bewdley on a Saturday night is not easy but overall I would definitely recommend this place.

I came to this place while I was walking around Bewdley and it has the BEST fish and chips I’ve ever tried in uk so far! Their fish is very fresh and the chips is tasty and well cooked! Also the staff were friendly and welcoming!
