Ocean Blue Fish Bar

I have had an evening special every Saturday from Ocean Blue fish bar for a long time. Quality is very good, staff could be friendlier but I was always happy overall. However when I went for my usual order today I found the price had gone up from £4.50 to £5.40! I refused to pay it. I know costs have gone up but there is no justification whatsoever for such a large increase. No more "chippies' for me! They will lose a lot of custom whereas a more modest increase would, I am sure, have encouraged customers to continue their patronage.

This has been my regular chippy, my go to chippy since I was little. I've never been to a place as good as it, both quality and portion sizes are great. The staff are lovely. The fact that the carpark is always busy and that there's always a queue outside is testament to how great this place is. My partner lives in Clifton and gets so excited when he can have a chippy tea at my house because there's nothing that compares to it where he lives

Love the fish and chips and the kebab from here. Nothing to fault, very fast and efficient service, decent portion sizes and good value for money.

Excellent quality, range of offers at sensible prices. The fact that the queue was through the fish bar and out the door said a lot! This is now my regular fish and chip shop.

If ever you are ever on Kirkby Road and need something to eat go to Ocean Blue and give yourself a treat ,its spotless clean and all the Staff try their best to please, even if a big order or just a pot of peas ,if ever you have a problem just let them know and they will do their best to make you happy, its no good just stamping your feet and filling out your nappy ,their standards are extremely high and we have been coming here for years my wife and me ,so its goodbye for now , because we are off to Ocean Blue to have our tea .See you on Saturday all the best to everyone at Ocean Blue from GES

I live in Chesterfield and travel to Ocean Blue Sutton in Ashfield because I know I'm getting value for money, the food is always spot on , large portions and pleasant service 👌
On this occasion I had the house special kebab , can't fault it and it's enough for two to share unless you're a big eater .😉

Lovely food and great service from the ladies, my favourite is the chicken gyros. Always busy and you can park around the corner

Called by Friday lunchtime. Very courteous staff, really nicely cooked chips and finished with a small piece of fish and curry sauce. Really good.
