Cracking old school chippy/cafe. Really friendly staff, quick and efficient service. Good cafe menu with a really welcome amount of Vegetarian and Vegan choices. Prices are really fair and the food was better than plenty of places that charge a great deal more. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Nice to hear the waitresses being so warm towards the older customers.

Stumbled across this place whilst staying nearby - staff were so helpful catering for our veganism and the best chip shop chips we’ve ever had. Thank you!

I ordered a chicken and sweet chilli wrap, it came with salad and colslaw, I asked not to be given the colslaw, which they didn't give me, but I didn't think they would have put the salad in the wrap? But did.

this cafe is a miss for me,I ordered three small fish and chips with peas as extra, two tea's,and a latte, the fish was ok,the chips were the best thing, but the peas was very hard, the tea was cheap tea,and the latte i think was just coffee in a latte cup as there was no froth on top,it just tasted like coffee, now the really surprising bit is the price, these small amount of three fish and chips with cheap drinks cost a staggering amount of £33.40p,witch I think is extortionate,ok the staff was friendly witch is why I have given two stars instead of one,but also some of the customers where very ignorant,we will be giving this cafe a miss from now on.

Bought two portions of regular cod and chips, a sausage plus carton of mushy peas about one hour ago after very lengthy wait. Fish very small, looked and tasted as if it was left over from lunchtime. Very pale chips possibly from frozen and so much greece the bottom of the boxes were soaked. Also had to queue outside ....very cold and windy despite no other customers in the shop.

Had a minced beef pie and fish and chips. Had to return the first pie because the top was that hard I couldn't get through it with the wooden fork they charged me 10p for! (If you're going to microwave the pies to within an inch if their lives at least provide utensils that we could get into them! I.e. a neumatic drill) Second pie wasn't any better, but I ate some of it because I was hungry.
Without doubt the worst pie I've ever eaten!!
The star is for the fish which was ok! Service was slow. Will not be returning!

The quality of chips a chippy produces is always the make or break of a traditional British chippy, even though I haven't tried most things off the menu, their chips have never disappointed. Crispy, not too greasy and cooked to perfection, excellent and quick service. Overall I would call this the best chippy in town and up there in my opinion with Cardigan arms and Celtic chips in Aber.

Much more than just a chip shop !! I had the best vegetarian breakfast ever with really tasty sausages, the vegan lasagna was awesome too - . We went in thinking this was a chippy but was pleasantly surprised by the menu and choices for vegetarians/vegans. Need to advertise this more outside - the food is excellent and the staff were really friendly highly recommend 👌🍽
