The Gym Group London Sutton

It's not bad but dumbells only go up to 38kg. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Can get quite busy. For the money it's good. I moved to another gym with bigger weights but my wife still goes here. She likes the classes. Be aware though that you can only park during sainsbury operating hours. If you go outside of this time then park down a side road. I'd give 5 stars if they had bigger weights and more equipment. Normally I'd only give a gym like this 3 stars but they get an extra point for the staff.

I have been using his gym for a few years now and it’s ok for the price. I feel that there are so many running machines and they are not used so much so my suggestion is to update the gym with new cardio machines that you don’t already have. When you go to a gym frequently it gets monotonous so each time the gym has a re fresh I expected new different machines but this doesn’t happen. I understand there is limited space but why so many of the the same machines especially as they are not popular anyway?

Always enjoy going to The Gym Group, the Sutton branch is good, sometimes busy and is always clean, (staff and a cleaner are regularly seen wiping down equipment, mopping floors etc). Given 4 stars as 1: could be cheaper and 2: the size should be bigger as it needs more equipment for the people using it, some pieces only have 1 of them, whereas most have 2. Would be better to have more interesting/diverse equipment.

Clean, bright, well-run gym on the corner. We have recently bought a membership for the two of us, and we've enjoyed our time here. The membership is quite diverse, with mostly working professionals coming over to exercise. The gym has acquired the adjoining store space as well, and will be expanding into it with more class space and equipment. Our only issue have been the lockers, some of which cannot be padlocked when closed. Other than that, it's pretty good value for money.

I go here regularly because of the low cost. It's okay. Recently expanded into more space, so it's a little bit better in terms of space. Has many of the machines/equipment you'd expect. But missing a couple pieces that are nice to have. Usually quite busy. The environment is nothing special, it does the job for now

Have used it a couple of times already since I recently registered with them. This gym is spacious and have variety of facilities and equipment plus it's located near Sutton main high street which is an advantage. However, it takes ages for them to fix 'out of service' machines which can be really an issue because there are many people (time wasters) there sit and take their time (God knows how many sets they do) not to mention they keep chatting and looking at their phones etc and they literally do not care about other people who desperately need to use these machines.

For instance, there was 1 lat pulldown machine available yesterday and the guy was sitting there for at least half an hour and when I asked him how many sets he's got left he kept saying couple of more sets. The Gym managers really need to keep an eye on those guys and have a word with them because they keep waste other people's time and it's so frustrating that you have to wait for 20 - 30 min just to use one of the machines there.

The other thing/issue was related to my PIN number. Sometimes it does not work so I have to keep entering the number a few times in order to get in/out.

The gym is well stocked with a range of equipment essential for a good workout and the price is very good. Gym is clean and maintained well by domestic staff. However, this gym is busy all the time ... at peak times, its rammed pack sp chances are you will struggle to get on equipment.Having said this the members are friendly and the staff are very helpful.

today was my first day after switching from pure gym and what i experienced was amazing.. it has good amount of machines and space and it is really cheap! i loved it
