Just opened, lovely and very spacious gym with spinning classes. Very good value for money.

Busy early evenings on Monday and Tuesdays, and the whole of January no doubt.

Equipment well spaced out with lots of cleaning equipment for wiping everything down before & after use. Not too busy and didn't have to come close to any other users. Felt very safe!

Decent gym, it definitely improved over the years. A bit expensive for what it is but it's still the cheapest one in the area. Finally air con is working and it smells a bit more fresh in there, although the smell in ladies locker room could be better. Not sure if it's a plumbing issue or what but it always smells stale in there.
Good sized gym with good equipment, which generally is kept in a good condition. Saw only few broken machines over the 2 months since I've re-joined, but considering how many of them are it doesn't affect your experience.

What a waste of time, came all the way down from east london to workout with a friend and this lady was so rude, Darshana Mahatma almost didnt let us in, even pushed me outside.
No one on site, receptionists or at least someone to assist you with passes or to give you at least a hello.
Poor service

The gym floor is very spacious with plenty of equipment. However in recent months the cleanliness of the male toilets and changing area is atrocious. They're more likely to be in a bad condition than good and it can often be quite off putting. The Lordship Lane Gym has much cleaner facilities and a fantastic cleaner who keeps the place gleaming. Same cant be said for The Mall as I can honestly say I have only seen an actual cleaner here once on a Sunday Morning. This has to improve.

UNBELIEVABLY AWFUL STAFF

The gym is spacious and well-equipped however, the staff working there is often unhelpful and unfriendly. I have been going to this gym for a while now and when my PIN was not working, it was almost impossible to get someone to ask for help, no one in reception and when someone finally got to the doors, they were nothing but rude. Benny did not want to solve the problem, even didn't want to look for the issue with my PIN and membership and instead of apologising for inconvenience, she said I should leave. So I went to the Gym Group Lorship Lane and they welcomed me with the amazing help and were able to assist me with my issue.

Later it turned out that my account was blocked without any notification or reason.

The wood green gym is really big. There is enough space to do your own workout with free weights.

Generally good amount of equipment, although the people in this gym seem to scatter it everywhere and do not put it back, which should be regulated. The cleanliness of the changing rooms and toilets is practically non-existent also - no matter what time I have been in the day it is always very unhygienic. Unfortunately, I have soon discovered why The Gym Group is so cheap!
