Staff very friendly (in particular Ian, who has been a big help). Gym is well kept, steam rooms, sauna and jacuzzi, and pool are perfect for me. Food is nice, whether it’s a jacket with salad or sandwich, or the hot meals they do as specials, always fresh and tasty. Well worth the monthly fee.

Can be quite busy but I often go after work. I would like to swim more but I never know if its busy there or if there's a kids swim class on. It's clean and has good variety of equipment. and the biggest pro is the staff.
They are all lovely and smiley. Especially the dark long haired lady that works the front desk. Her customer service skills are exceptional.

Ok so I used to love this gym I have been a member for years. Since I am on maternity leave I have cancelled my membership. I am out of contract so I have to give 1 month's notice. I did this and have it in an email confirmation. I paid for my last month and cancelled my direct debit for after that. Since then I have been harassed by them! Lots of emails and texts saying I needed to re-set up my DD. I emailed them, at first they made me prove I had cancelled my membership. When I said I did they said ok. No apology nothing.. anyway I continued to get emails.. I emailed them again and they just said yep your cancelled all is ok. Today I have received a text saying I have outstanding funds... Um no I don't. It's getting beyond a joke! I'm off with my new baby. I would have rejoined when off mat leave but I absolutely won't now! From a quick Google search I can see that they like to do this and then start sending you letters if you don't have it in righting but I do!! AVOID this GYM membership as they will just harass you when you leave!! If you do leave keep everything in writing.

Warning - do not book a massage at Tamworth site. In experienced staff with lack of training and understanding of customers medical conditions and how to deal with it. When challenged with facts did not accept sub standard service. My recommendation would be go to Sutton Coldfield branch, much friendlier people and deliver against what you pay for. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Just a very low quality gym, much better in Tamworth for that price, dirty, always too busy, id strongly recommend you do not get membership at this gym, haven't been for 3 months, cancelled 2 months ago and they still try and charge me to this day and act like its an accident then become hard to get into contact with to resolve it... its not a lot of money to be robbed for but its a little annoying that they think they can just take from customers and be difficult to get back into contact with... Very strange, but id recommend save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere, pool is always packed with kids playing, sauna and steam room rarely work... not good at all

Despite the fact that me and family was not best pleased with the service received we still made it a good day. We all paid for a candle back massage and me and my mum was certain that Grace/Gracie was a trainee however we were not made aware of this! The massage was not great and she really did not know what she was doing as she was copying everything the other women was doing and saying to my sister. Me and my sister noticed that it was like having an echo in the room! Also, where were the candles? The facilities were quite small so I would recommend another Bannatyne. Food was average but still nice. We went upstairs to the spa before leaving to use our £10 vouchers off products and no one was there to serve us which wasn’t great as we had to leave without buying our products and using our vouchers. Lady on reception as we were leaving was very rude unfortunately I couldn’t see her name badge.

In the last 3 months, this place is like my second home. Great classes and facilities. You get what you pay for!

I use a few bannatynes all over the country because I'm a truck driver I love the places its a poor man's bit of luxury 👍👍
