Nice spa and pool, different rooms to look around, afternoon tea was nice but not the best herbal selection. We would of had a problem if it wasn't for my friend spotting strawberries on our stand (I have a severe allergy and she had already phoned it through) but the chef and staff were very accommodating and changed it all to make sure none of the food was contaminated.
They could think about adding a few more saunas on their next expansion and possibly think about turning the swimming pool heat up a bit.
The new expansion is nice and clean, the gym has nice up to date equipment and no one expects any different if you walk around in a robe. The hot chocolate definitely hits the spot

Really nice refurbished spa. Lovely cafe and restaurant area, all modern and updated - also really reasonably priced. Great pool, hot hottub, 2 lovely scented steam rooms and a sauna. The staff were really friendly, and I had a great firm massage!

Great pool for swimming, excellent jacuzzi Good saunas and steam rooms. Changing rooms were clean and tidy. I was lucky enough to have a prebooked massage by Amber. Very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Similar to other comments staff not attentive, too busy chatting about their own lives to focus on customer. Robe/towel hire was surprisingling additional and not apparent on booking. Would be a nice gym but as a Spa venue it's second rate. The afternoon tea appeared OK, service not exactly with a smile. 2 hours after eating both myself and daughter experienced symptoms of food poisoning. Having both only consumed food from this venue the source was fairly conclusive.
Wouldn't recommend if you were looking for a gift or spoiling someone. Disappointing to say the least...

It's always a treat to spend the day at Riverhills. My massage was amazing, I asked for firm pressure and my therapist was able to successfully work out the uncomfortable knots in my calf muscles.
Lunch was 2 courses and delicious.
Highly recommended!

Staff rude! Not welcoming in the slightest at reception 😡 Half the facilities were closed too! Very small on the spa front literally better facility’s at my gym! Yet I traveled 2 hours to come to this spa! Only reason for giving 1* is the facial was lovely and so was the lovely young lady who done who done it. Food was nice however again one of the staff members rolled her eyes when asked for some salt! Mould in showers. Would not recommend much much nicer spas.

Had an afternoon tea/use of spa facilities and full body massage with my partner. We both had a lovely & relaxing time. Treatment girls were very nice, professional and gave us both a great massage (my hot stone massage was lush🔥).
Bar staff on afternoon lunch was a little slow on our drinks order but food was delicious 👍 cannot wait to visit again!

Booked an afternoon tea with an hours hot stone massage, both were lovely. Friendly staff and its had a refurb, so looking really fresh and modern.
Only downside was it was so cold in all areas, even around the pool and with damp towels and robes after being in the pool, jacuzzi etc., we just couldn't get warm, lots of people were changing into clothes they'd arrived in to eat in the dining room, which doesn't make for a relaxing day.
