North Weald Flight Training

I was given a trial flight here as a present, already having a few hours of lessons in a nearby aerodrome. I found the atmosphere to be so positive, you can tell everyone there is passionate about aviation, and the aircraft and instructors were just on a whole different league of professionalism to my old school. Strongly recommended for newbies, they will make you feel safe and comfortable. I've been flying G-SMON and she is an absolute joy to be in. The aircraft are well maintained and there is no compromises when it comes to safety, education, and overall customer satisfaction. I flew a few days ago and I already can't wait for my next takeoff! Oh and the '40s decor is amazing.

I visited the North Weald Flight Training venue as I had received a flight experience day for my birthday. At first, I didn't really know what to think - I hadn't considered flying and particularly in a small plane.

We arrived on the day and was met by a friendly and helpful receptionist who explained the procedure to me. I was then met by the person I was going to be flying with, essentially the person I was trusting my life with!

I'm so glad that I was paired up with the lovely Sabina..... her enthusiasm, passion and love for flying make the experience amazing. It's not very often you meet someone who is literally in love with what they do, well Sabina was no exception. Very talented and clearly in the right job, so thanks again Sabina for making the day a pleasure and one to remember.

If I ever decide to pursue my LAPL, I will certainly be back and will request your personal attendance.

Joined my 14 year old niece on a one hour flying lesson, and enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend North Weald Flight Training to anyone that would like to experience flying a light aircraft. A wonderful memorable experience - Thank you!

I got a trial flight booked here for my grandsons 13th birthday and was very impressed with the whole setup. Reception staff helpful and the actual office was immaculate. Best of all big thanks to Scott the instructor who made this a memorable day. Great patience and sense of humour . Thanks to all.

WORST RECEPTIONIST EVER! I am really disappointed with the way the receptionist has dealt with me! My friend had her birthday on the 18th of January and I was planning to get her a nice gift and book her a flight training through north weald flight training. I called the receptionist of the company and I was never guided through the correct procedure, neither I was treated respectfully at all. I do request from the company to ensure that they employ good and respectful people as customer service is the most important thing. I will never book with them again. An employee should have the full patience and respect towards the customer specially when it is a receptionist especially when all I did was just asking for the procedure, and I got an awful response, which had a bad impact on my entire day.

We heard of Northweald Flight Training through a family member that knew Steve who’s an instructor at Northweald Flight Training. We decided to ask Steve if it was possible to have an flight for our nephews Christmas present. Steve was more than happy to do this for us and our nephew Rio absolutely loved it! Rio is visually impaired and the support and assistance that Steve gave him was so lovely and it made Rio (and us) feel very comfortable. Rio was the copilot for this trip whilst we sat in the back and left him and Steve to it! Rio particularly enjoyed making the plane fly higher & we were really impressed with the amount of independence he was given when actually controlling the plane. Rio has asked to go again in Spring and we will definitely be back!! Thank you!!

Absolutely loved hour flight experience! Had a great instructor Niall Colgan who made flying seem easy even though it was my first time flying. Incredible experience that made me want to come back for more!
