I have always wanted to learn to fly and for my 60th birthday my daughter bought me a trial flying lesson. It was all i'd hoped for and more. What an incredible experience, what a thrill, and what a lovely instructor, so informative and friendly but very easy going too. if it's something you have wanted to do but were unsure if it was for you, hesitate no more, you will not regret it, it is the most fantastic way to see the countryside and much safer than driving. Give it a go, you'll love it.

I had a trial lesson with Sussex flying club and would thoroughly recommend flying with them, the team were very knowledgeable and helpful.
The instructor that I flew with was very friendly and made me feel comfortable during my lesson. Overal it was a great experience and being able to see Sussex from the sky was fantastic.

I was bought a trial flying lesson as a gift even though i have a PPL i have not flown for a while. When i called to book the lesson the gentleman on the phone was rude, abrupt and certainly forgot he was in the service industry. When i went for my flight (when they could fit me in rather than when i really wanted to go!) i arrived 30 minutes before as asked to do. I was told that my instructor was still flying and to comeback in 25 minutes, which I did. To cut a long story short over 1 hour after i had arrived i was still sitting there, without an apology or an explanation as to why i had not gone flying. Of course they said it wasn't their fault and the pilot got blocked in on the Isle of White!!. I traveled 45 minutes to get there and the same home and sat for 1 hour so almost wasted half a day. I spent £15 on lunch and the parking also cost £3 its not the money but the principle of it all. Having learnt to fly myself before I would recommend that if you have a choice go somewhere else these people don't give a monkeys about their customers, interesting that another reviewer had the same rude attitude. Find somewhere where you will be looked after and your custom valued and enjoy your flying experience.

The flying team are great, what they offer is great. But unfortunately the woman who handles the phones is not so great, she was blunt and rude when processing our refund. Although the refund was done correctly, she spoke to us in a rude manner. Not professional and let the team down. Would be a 5 star, if not for her. Can't remember her name but we called on 22/2/18 at 9:07am

Just had my first flying lesson with Sussex Flying Club and couldn't be happier. The instructor was great and made me feel at ease, all while giving me plenty of control so I was doing less watching and more flying. Perfect weather was a bonus. Would highly recommend! Just the 44 hours to go :).
