I found this company listed on ebay and requested and received a quote for a 2000 sq ft mezzanine floor, supply only. I placed the order and paid in full up front and all was well until deadline day for delivery of the floor, we received boards, some legs & a staircase!

The following week I received the remainder of the legs and the steel sections but waited a further 3 weeks for purlins to arrive, putting the project 4 weeks behind schedule. I received numerous excuses for the lack of purlins, but I have my own views on this matter. I was promised a team of installers to get the project back on schedule but P&F Services never made good on their promise.

The quality of the floor received is pretty poor, many of the joints between the posts and the steel beams are poor and most don't line up. All of the purlins are drilled in the wrong place and don't match up to the brackets on the steels, so we will have to drill 126 holes to get the second bolt in.

We were not sent enough purlins and have had to improvise and we received no short purlins for attaching the staircase supports to the main frame. The staircase is not long enough and it leans, it feels like this company just sent whatever they could get their hands on at the time and hoped for the best.

When we fitted the staircase the holes drilled in the steel for attaching the staircase were too far apart so we had to drill a new hole to be able to fit the staircase.

Nobody from P&F Services has really taken responsibility for making these mistakes and letting us down. I was promised a call from the owner and i'm still waiting. Now this company won't answer our calls or reply to e-mail.

In 23 years running my own business I have never dealt with such a poorly organised company. I can't speak for other customers of P&F Services, but my experience has been painful, costly and unnecessarily difficult.

**Be Aware before placing an order with them**
We purchased a mezzanine floor from this company and when invoiced in good faith paid up straight away all monies owed. On receiving the floor it became apparent that many of the boards were unfit for purpose. We were aware this was second hand but not that it would unusable. We contacted P&F who advised they had a stocking issue and if we could source elsewhere they would reimburse us. We purchased the boards elsewhere as we couldn't hold the project up any longer and 3 months later are still chasing P&F for the promised reimbursement. They do not answer the phone and replies to emails are sporadic.

Be aware of this company , like other bad reviews I also bought and pay full in advance only to find a delivery of a mezzanine without the staircase and rails paid for. We can't hold the job and despite calls that never are answered, sporadic and rude emails nothing has happened. We will have to file a small claims as I don not believe we will see my money back or the missing parts.

PF were competitive which made me wonder if they were okay, we needed a large floor quick - they arrived on time and done a superb job.
I cannot fault the service or the job. I might suggest an answerphone in the office but thats a minor point.

Used company once before and they seemed fine, hired for second job, paid invoice upfront 5000 and they stopped responding to emails, didnt answer phone OH AND NEVER SHOWED UP TO DO JOB ON DAY THEY SAID. have been ghosting our company ever since, we got conformation from a next door business that they are still in building but still ghosting. Now taking a legal step
