Absolute Floorcare

We rugularly employ Jamie from Absolute floorcare as a trainer for our TACCA training days, his knowledge of the industry is outstanding and we get lots of great feedback from our attendees, looking forward to his next training seminar in May,

Great service from the point of initial contact and advice regarding treatment needed to our limestone flooring through to the work being carried out. The team are extremely helpful and the work was carried out to a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in using Absolute Floorcare in the future for other work in or in recommending them to friends and colleagues.

Cant recommend Absolute Floorcare enough, they done a fantastic job transforming our marble floor. It looks like a new floor and we are delighted. Great people to work with and look forward to working with them again soon.

So very disappointed. It started out well with Jamie coming round to give a quote. He gave good feedback at the time and said that yes, Absolute Floorcare could do the job and then…nothing. Radio silence. One month down the line, there has been follow up from my side and in response…nothing. I live 5 minutes from them and was hoping to use a local company but as it turns out, the local company has no desire to do a local project. Very disappointing.

The guys were punctual and polite and very knowledgeable. They explained everything very well and were helpful in choosing the correct stain/finish. They were really friendly, efficient and tidy. We would certainly recommend their services!

I am surprised to have received this opportunity to offer a review two years after Absolute Floorcare polished our concrete floor. I am not at all satisfied by the service we received. After two attempts at polishing our floor, there remained a couple of issues that I was not happy with, including several new stains that appeared on our floor that I had not expected after it had been polished. However, my absolute and greatest frustration arose over a period of more then six months when I would call Absolute Floorcare every week, and sometimes twice a week, in order to speak to Jamie to discuss my concerns, and to ask about our continued floor maintenance. I expect that I must have made more then fifty attempts to speak to him, but to no avail. My calls were never returned and in the end I gave up. If it so happens that Jamie reads this review and would like to give me a call, then I would be delighted to hear from him. Otherwise, my review is that the post-work customer care of Absolute Floorcare is non-existent.

Our initial contact with Jamie in October was dealt with quickly and we received a verbal estimate and date of completion for the planned work. Unfortunately, despite several subsequent emails and phone calls from us to try to confirm the cost and date of work, we received nothing in return. Finally, after yet another call 2 days prior to the proposed date in January, we did receive confirmation that the work was going ahead.
Although arriving later than stated, Rich (the floor sander) was excellent. He worked very hard to make up lost time and the finished floor exceeded our expectations.
Had it not been for the lack of communication and resulting stress, we would have been happy to give this company a higher star rating as the quality of the work is first class.

All anyone can ask of a business is to honour their commitment to a customer. Unfortunately, unless you have a very large project, or are a commercial enterprise, don’t touch them; they’re not interested in small scale domestic work (despite telling you so). They committed to carrying out some work, which involved me sourcing some rare oak at great cost, to get my house ready for an Open Championship booking. The never arrived. As others have experienced, dozens of calls over weeks to get ahold of Jamie, remained unanswered. Eventually, I was told bigger jobs took priority (despite my booking)- the utter arrogance. Ultimately, they lost me £1K’s in a lost booking and wood. I provided feedback months later to a pleasant bloke on the phone, and heard nothing back.
