Excellent experience from start to finish. No hard sell, just professional advice. We bought carpets for the entire upstairs of our house. The fitters did a wonderful job. The carpets are good quality and look beautiful.

Great place.
The sales people all very friendly and helpful. I am glad that we visited the shop and was able to find a a desired flooring for all around the house we need it. I will be happy to recommend to others as well to visit the place.
Even more pleased as i was able to bring my dog as well with us inside the shop.

We very much regret dealing with this store. We have wasted time, money and mental energy for disgraceful outcomes. The staff are dishonest and defensive, the store manager in particular. The fitting was done to an appalling standard. Upon removing the existing carpet to fit a doormat, they damaged the concrete base badly at the edges. I didn't complain and accepted to pay them £60 to repair it. They counted it as a full job, yet they failed to fill the edges and re-level the base which was the essence of the job. The fitting staff kept making lame excuses and refused to see the wrong even when it's so obvious. It was shockingly incomprehensible, no logic was in their arguments. Even worse, the store manager switched to argue mode suggesting their guys reported flawless job and took their side without paying attention to my complaint yet when he saw the pictures of the fixed base he confused it with before repair! The carpet was done on an uneven base while i was at work and my wife unwell and couldn't attend the fitting. They ruined the entrance of our house for £200, a job we could have done in our own time without causing damages or wasting time and money. Stay away, find someone else or do it yourself.

Have bought most of my carpets from here over the years. Excellent quality at reasonable prices. The people who come and measure and the staff in the store are excellent and knowledgeable. I knocked one star off as the fitters are contractors and left a mess (although the staff in the store were quick to resolve the issue).

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I don't know how any company could mess up an order so badly. Weeks ago I ordered 2 carpets for delivery yesterday. Carpet #1: it hasn't come into stock yet and won't come in for 3 weeks (so who forgot to order it?) Carpet #2: it just didn't go on the van yesterday or today. Do I believe their promise that it will be delivered first thing tomorrow? I have the fitter booked for tomorrow so they'd better not mess this up again! But my faith in their promises is dwindling fast.
Moral of the story: do not use Tapi, go to CarpetRight two doors down. When we were let down by Tapi not getting our carpet into stock, I went into CarpetRight and found one very similar that they had in stock right there (and it was 1/4 of the price). 10 minutes later I had it in the back of the car and drove off with it.

Tapi staff were very welcoming even though we had a small job which we needed a quote for. The salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable and arranged for a quote speedily. Would give 5 stars but the eventual quote was expensive for a small job as they have a minimum charge

At first they seemed very helpful and willing. After a very disappointing fitting, the communication between the fitter and tapi seemed non existing. Neither party claiming responsibility and despite many phone calls and polite emails outlining the issues and requesting follow up and customer service, Tapi have yet to call us back and provide any level of customer service. Teh only time they responded by sending the fitter back to rectify the issue the fitter returns without the planks needed replacing and claims tapi ddn't communicate our complaints. I have since called and emailed again and haven't heard back. Disgraceful dismissive customer service and after care.

I can’t fault Tapi Carpets in any way. From the home consultant Paul who discussed efficiently, and without pressure selling at the initial meeting, to Jimi and Louis and the other carpet fitters, who were professional, courteous and did a sterling job. I would highly recommend.
