In a sunny summer day, I can't think of something that beats walking around the flower market. Good coffee, some of the cutest dogs, lots of families, that good neighborhood community vibe. All that is good and well, but those aren't the highlights, the plants are. Beautiful, exuberant, a multitude of fragrances filling the air. I felt like buying the whole place. But I eventually came to my senses, realized I don't have that big of a place, settled down to some gorgeous flowers on a bouquet and went back home with a sense of joy. Plants can have that kind of effect on us.

My favorite market in town! Lots of different flowers and plants for a good price. Lovely stores along the road and great coffee shops :)

A must visit for a nice leisurely walk, enjoying the flowers and the smells. A bit of the beaten path but packed with colour, smells, Flowers of all sizes and species, and lots of botanicals at very good prices. Several artisan and curiosity shops. Lots of coffee places and some pubs nearby. Tends to get very crowded. Visit to upgrade the green feel of your place. Bring big sturdy carrier bags as it is some distance from underground stations.

Not quite sure why, but on my latest visit there were only stalls on one side of the street. Possible economic impact? Still many bargains to be had though, so we'll worth visiting to bring some colour into your homes amidst the approaching autumn gloom.

Really charming place, and everything sold for a good price. Only downsides are it's very busy, so the shops and cafés are all full, and the market is a lot smaller than you'd assume. I was expecting it to take a while to get round, but we were done after less than 40 minutes.

The market is lovely but too crowded, we had to squeeze and walk very slowly. I could barely breathe… but the flowers and the plants were beautiful and fresh. We ended up buying too many of them and we took Uber home lol

The flower market is pleasant enough and there is a plethora of independent and artisan shops on Colombia Road trading to all the beautiful people that hang out here, the wealth spills down to Hackney to show the superficial attraction of successful gentrification. Lots of flowers and plants, fortunately not as maddeningly busy as usual due to covid but, as my friend remarked "the yuccas are cheaper in Lidl"!
