Parkside Brasserie

My first time visiting Parkside. What a lovely place the food qnd wine was amazing!! I am a big foodie and thought this place was fantastic. Helen is just so welcoming! This place is a real gem I will DEFINITELY be back!

My partner & I went for dinner, we had a table reserved for 7:30pm. First impressions was that the restaurant had a really cute setting and the staff were very warm & welcoming when we arrived.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious, what more can you ask for in a restaurant? We both thought it was really lovely that it seemed family run with the husband in the kitchen cheffing, the wife managing front of house and their 2 children taking orders and serving drinks & food etc…

We will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely evening!

Well worth a visit folks!!!

First time tried this restaurant dinner for two. Menu looked nice nibbles and starters nothing to complain about was tasty and hot. Dinner was a total let down I hate ordering mains same time as starters anyway but was told we had to! Steak smothered in peppercorns and both our dinners were lukewarm. Bill came to £150 with drinks. Wasn’t offered any drink/shot on house staff all seemed tired

Lovely dinner. Food good (generous portions), service excellent, good ambience. Very good value & think locals are missing a trick, should have been busier.

It is a gem of a place in elm park and should not be overlooked and tried because once you try you will definitely go back the food is so fresh and in season, resourced locally it should be supported. Save the train fare on going to London if you want a real treat.

Simply fantastic. This small restaurant doesn't just set the bar of quality in the area, but it actually creates one!

The food is classic and simple French cooking, but done utterly perfectly. Not at all pretentious but totally delicious. I won't go into detail as I'm sure with a chef/owner who cares this much, every dish will be delicious!

I had the Steak Frites, a perfect medium rare, and genuinely better than any I've had in Paris or similar...

The service was excellent, there was a tiny chip on one of the bread plates, and the waitress spotted it and immediately replaced, the sort of thing that would happen in a place where the staff and owners really genuinely cared.

I genuinely cannot praise the food and service higher, If you haven't already you simply must come here and support this incredible gem of a place.

Food eaten, prawns, lamb chops, oysters and the star of the show this seafood linguine with a delightful kick of chilli. By a country mile, this was the best seafood / pasta dish I have eaten. By far!
