Rooster's Hut - Peckham

Frustrating but I can't give a higher rating than 3/5. I have placed 4 takeaway orders with this place (via Deliveroo) and the food was always really tasty, but the last 2 times items were missing from the order.

Last week, I ordered Spicy Wings and received Potato Wedges instead. And instead of Chicken Stripes I received Chicken Wings. Very annoying, but because the food WAS tasty I decided to give them another chance today. I even added a note to please check that the order was correct. And yet again items were missing: 1 can of Pepsi instead of 2. 1 portion of Fries instead of 2.

Seriously, if you're that bad at getting an order right, don't work in the takeaway business. It's a shame, but I'll look for another restaurant now.

Beware of the fried chicken. Always check it before you leave. Once was that it wasn’t cooked properly. I had to pop it back into my oven. The second occasion was that the chicken was spoilt and smelly.

I order a half grill chicken in this place I have eaten chicken in other places but this one was the best.very tasty and not to much salt the staff are fantastic.

It's a fast food place where we had some grilled chicken. The chiekn was lovely but the chilli sauace was a little too hot 🔥. There were also a burger place which we didn't try.

I loved the meal that we received tonight. The lemon and herb grilled strips were full of flavour and they were juicy. The portion size of the chips was a bit too big for me but my partner had the extra so it didn't go to waste. Overall I would highly reccomend this place

This place is part of Peckham and is appreciated, but it could be much better service wise. Like there is no need for aggressive faces from the staff when ordering food, it just is unpleasant.

The chicken was soggy and I took a bite an I saw the chicken was not cooked properly . This has happened numerous of times and I have had enough . Honestly they need to change their chicken or shut down because people will catch salmonella and wonder why. I recommend you to not eat here . Absolutely Appalling 😡😡
