Proper Handmade Pizza and Burger

Food always delayed and only occasionally good, tonight's chips were warm but the rest was cold again.

Pretty much ran out of patience for this place to get its act together, it seems that no matter if it's delivery or collection and how fast you can get the food home most of it will be cold.

Can't comment on the food because I still haven't received it currently 45 minutes past the time they said it was due. Absolutely dreadful service have called up 7 times and everytime it's rang its gone to voicemail. Have tried contacting through every means available to no avail. Update 1 finally got through to someone at Captain Joe's, didn't get a chance to say anything past the first line of my address before the person I was speaking to rushed to get me off the phone. They hung up on me when I asked why it had taken so long. Absolutely poor service from this place after usually good service. Very disappointed

Final update received food 1 hour 5 minutes after time it said I would receive it by. The fries were cold and chewy, and the chicken as a redeemable factor was fairly hot unfortunately this was brought down by very soggy batter that wasn't crispy at all.

Fair to say I think this entire experience was awful and to be honest I would advise anyone to not order online from Captain Joe's. The in store experience is much better and on average food is much hotter and fresher if you collect so if you can I would highly recommend going in if you wanted captain Joe's desperately.

Was very happy with the food. The burgers had lots of taste and the sauces just like on a big mac. Order come a little late but as things are and time of year I was prepared to wait . After 1 phone call it was soon delivered and explained how busy they was. Will use again

Ordering food for my workers working nearby takeaway send me multiple web links to pay. Some links did not work and One did. Then I checked my bank account and they charged me twice!!!
Phoned them but they said they only have one payment... Asked me to come 80miles to show them I been charged twice and then put the phone down on me...
YOU OWE ME £25 that still need to be refunded. My bank will take all the money back if you dont want to refund what you have overcharged!!!

My son orders from here all the time so I thought I would try it .. had the cheese and bacon burger meal .. omg it was massive and proper meaty and the fries were to die for .. beats any mcd burger and such good value for money given how costly takeaways are today ***

Absolutely unbelievable. Was like a party in my mouth. Burger was U N R E A L, chips were to die for. Only disappointment was that I haven't ordered from here sooner!! 10/10

I have been meaning to try this place for a while and popped in this evening. I tried the bacon and cheese burger meal and I wasn't disappointed, the burger was meaty 100% beef so I was told and after eating it I'm not going to argue with that. Fries were nice and plenty of them.

I will definitely be going again.

We have ordered a few times over lockdown and I can honestly say it has become one of our favourite takeaway.
The food is amazing and it feels very much like an American diner style food.
Delivery is really fast.
Very reasonably priced for the portion you get and you can upgrade your burgers so you can make your own masterpiece.
Brilliant and highly recommend
