We sadly lost our father fairly suddenly on the 15th March and I cannot recommend Nicky & Sterry Funeral service enough. We were recommended Sterry Funeral service by a family friend so I made contact with them. From the first call to Nicky I knew we would be looked after - supported and guided through everything we needed. We didn't know where to start but Nicky took all those worries away. We cannot thank Nicky enough for her kindness and support through such a difficult time.
The whole team were fantastic and Ashley on the day of the funeral was very supportive, patient, friendly and extremely helpful and kind - this went a long way.
Nicky arranged for Geoff Stevens to conduct our Dad's service and what a lovely man - a heartfelt thank you for such a lovely service.

Their consummate professionalism, discreet efficiency, and willingness to go the extra mile (including opening up for us specially on a Saturday as we live out of area) was such a comfort at the time of my uncle's death. It's rare to get this level of service from any business and theirs was immaculate. The degree of support provided gave us complete confidence that all the arrangements would go smoothly and Nicky was just a lovely person to deal with. If I lived in this part of Kent, I would certainly use them for myself when the time comes. My mother and I are truly grateful to have had such a good experience with Sterry at a difficult time.

A big thank you to Nicky in helping me arrange a beautiful funeral for my mum. Nicky was friendly, kind and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. The premises are lovely too, spotlessly clean, everything displayed professionally and it smells lovely. Nicky and Sterry’s also took part in the memorial service at All Souls, Cheriton. It was a lovely service where we lit tea lights for our loved ones.

Where to start... there are so many commendations that I have for Nicky at Sterry Funeral Service. My dad sadly passed away at a rather young age and as next of kin I had absolutely no idea where to begin. I contacted Sterry Funeral Service and was connected with Nicky who arranged for us to come in and have a meeting to run through everything that needed arranging. Myself and my brother Joe went in and met Nicky. Nicky was compassionate, kind and understanding that we did not have all of the answers straight away. She helped us to plan a beautiful funeral for my dad and this ran so smoothly. One of the images that sticks out in my head is that once the funeral had been arranged and on the day itself we were in the limousines on the way to the crematorium and drove past Sterry in Cheriton - and Nicky was stood outside as we drove past - what a strong and really moving image to give us as a grieving family.

Cannot recommend Sterry Funeral Service enough, as someone who has no experience on funeral planning (and I doubt many people do). I would highly recommend dealing with Nicky if at all possible - she is a complete asset to the business. Thank you, Nicky.

Sterry Funeral Service are a very professional and compassionate team.
