F C Wood Funeral Directors

My mother had a pre paid funeral plan and FC Wood was the nominated funeral director. From the moment my brother and I met with Kim we knew that Mum would be looked after very well and that all of our requests would be met. Nothing was hurried and we were given plenty of time to decide the finer details. We arranged to see Mum a couple of days before the funeral and she looked so peaceful and had been dressed beautifully in the clothes we had provided. The added touch of her holding a rose was very special. She had her favourite soft toy by her side too. On the day of the funeral each member of the team involved treated the entire family with the utmost respect and the celebrant (recommended by Kim) spoke as though she were a true family friend. It made such a difficult day a little bit easier. Thank you all from the family of Irene Hines

I had the most caring and excellent service from all the staff at F C Woods.

The staff at FC Woods made arranging my mother's funeral as easy as these things can be. They were kind, professional and extremely helpful. After the funeral we received a gift box to store cards etc. and a framed photo of my mother, the image taken from her order of service. A lovely gift that was most unexpected.

Twosday 22/2/22 was a very hard day but you and your team have made what has been the most difficult part of our lives easier to face.
Thank you for looking after Mick our husband/dad from the moment you took him into "your care" til being dropped off to our venue after, the the service we received was impeccable. It was all doing with dignity and professionalism , we can't thank you enough.
Carol , funeral director on Tuesday couldn't have been better and very thorough and respectful of all our needs .
Frances you've been incredibly helpful, compassionate and professional from the minute we called and spoke to you enquiring about arrangements to even helping with the quirky personal touches . You truely are worth your weight in gold.
And if you could please pass on our heartfelt thanks to clare, the celebrant who took the service who helped us get our thoughts together and delivered the service in a caring manner that did Mick/dads memory justice.
We can't thank you all enough for the service received, the chats and advise were something we appreciated and will remember, all in all we don't think we could have asked for a better team to help us say our final goodbyes.
We are now learning how to live without Mick/dad , however we will never forget you support .
