WA Truelove & Son Wallington

So disappointed with Trueloves in Wallington. I can honestly say I have never known anything like it when dealing with a family that are grieving, we lost our amazing dad and my mum lost the man she adored. My dad died from cancer, he also tested positive with covid when he passed on Christmas Day. We felt like my dad was no longer important once they were informed about covid. I was spoken to like he was just another covid case, well I’m sorry, that is my dad you so coldly spoke about on the phone. We were told we can’t see my dad and that my dad cannot be dressed in his suit due to covid which we totally understand. I was however told I could go with the coffin lid down to speak to him in Trueloves, I held on to that little bit of comfort that at least I could go in the room and talk to him for the last time even though I couldn’t see him,before he’s funeral.
Today I was told more bad news and that I can’t go in even with the lid down. I understand more than anyone the importance of covid and dear friends and family suffer losing loved ones.
When we first spoke to Rosemary she was wonderful, it felt like as soon as covid was mentioned, the change it attitude was so disappointing. I have never given anyone a bad review but this couldn’t go by without warning people who intend using Trueloves in the future.

I would like to thank Joseph at head office with his professionalism in helping me me arrange the best send off my dear Dad. Also, Rosemary from the Wallington branch that dealt with all final arrangements. This is a lovely, professional company. It is a very upsetting and stressful time but I never needed to stress as they had everything in hand. Thank you so very much xx

Having used their services before, I didn't want anyone else but them to handle our Dads funeral. From the first day of contact with the office manager Rosemary, I knew he would be looked after. Visiting my Dad was not an issue and we were given access as many times as we wanted. On the day of the service the head mourner Alex and his team were all very well presented. They were so helpful and caring towards my elderly mother, we can't thank them enough. The cars were adapted for covid safety and everything was carried out with precise precision and professionalism. They made a very sad occasion special, thank you 💙❤
