I recently had a terrible experience, I asked Heightons to collect my Father who had just passed away from his address, they did this quickly - but then as far as I am concerned they lost him -- no one got in touch with me to let me know where my Father was, no one had the decency to even give me a quick call, it was almost a day of me making telephone call after telephone call to a very rude call centre - I was told to speak to a 'Business Manager' -- Hello - my dad has just died, you have lost him -- why do I need to speak to a 'Business Manager' - when eventually someone did contact me -- almost a day later -- no apologies, just excuses about how busy they were, NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE, in my opinion. So I would therefore recommend you use anyone other than W Heighton + Son Funeral Directors -- would'nt let them direct traffic -- I would go so far as to say avoid DIGNITY Group. PS He eventually turned up at Ginns + Gutteridge

We experienced a professional and courteous service throughout. Thank you Sally, for your caring approach and your sensitive manner when discussing difficult topics. The Funeral Director and his team were respectful on the day of the funeral and ensured that everything was ok before and after the service. Our lovely Celebrant, Linda, delivered the service with emotion and humour and captured my mother in law’s spirit perfectly. Thank you all on behalf of the whole family.

The level of customer service, advice and attention to detail was outstanding, without which would not have made the day run smoothly and at the correct content and desired requirement for my Father's funeral such a success. A special mention must go to Sally, Keith and our celebrant Bernie who all contributed to such a moving and wonderful experience. I have no hesitation in recommending Heighton's to anyone needing their services and professionalism.

From informing them of dads passing, right the way through to being dropped off at our venue after the funeral/burial, the service we received was impeccable. The staff are very professional and patient. They know their job inside out and made sure we were fully informed and understood everything that was going to happen. I highly recommend them to everyone.
