Unfortunately I have had to use their services twice this year. Both times they have acted with the upmost dignity and professionalism, swift and concise all with the appropriate levels of empathy during a very emotional time. Hopefully I won’t need their services for a very very long time to come but if I do I will definitely be using Gill, Alan and the team at the Addiscombe branch.

Francis Chappell and Sons handled my father's funeral with the utmost professionalism and sensitivity.They also organised my mother's funeral 24 years ago.I am extremely grateful to them and would not hesitate to recommend them.

As it was my first time planning a funeral I found the help I was given by Gill really helpful. Any appointments I needed to make were at my convenience and I felt I could ring up with any questions. The whole process of the service was well explained to me. The day of the funeral went really well and everything was done with great respect to myself and my family.

The family chose Francis Chappell in Lower Addiscombe Road as this was close for all the family to see our Father when he would be in the chapel of rest.

The lady I dealt with from the start was Gill. She was informative, supportive and was very empathetic throughout our loss and continued the support until the end.

Even the aftercare that has been offered has allowed us to take time to grieve before we finally lay our Father's ashes at his last resting place.

We are glad we chose this funeral Directors and will use again in the future.
