A first class service from start to finish. Sue is warm and welcoming and made a difficult situation as easy as it could possibly be. Nothing was too much trouble and our many queries and requests were responded to fully and promptly all the way through. The day of the funeral itself ran smoothly and without a hitch. Amy and the team were caring and professional. Donna, the celebrant, did a fantastic job. She was very supportive both before and on the day and made the service a real celebration of dad's life. Thank you all for your help, patience and compassion.

A faultless service was given to us by Sue, Amy and team. Couldn't ask for nicer or more understanding people to deal with. The funeral was everything we hoped it would be, we are very happy we chose them.

My great grandfather died and the lovely lady came to the door to made sure that my great grandmother was okay, the staff allowed us to take our time were extremely helpful and were so lovely. My expectations were exceeded. Thanks for such a lovely service. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a lovely funeral. Sorry I didn't catch the name of the lovely lady, but I would like to thank her.

My husband died in late November 2022 and Hornchurch & Essex Funeral Directors were the first funeral directors we visited. We were greeted by Suzanne (Sue) and she explained everything to us and gave us all the details we needed. We did intend to visit other places to compare prices but my daughter and I just felt this was the right place for us. How right we were! We used the florists that were in the brochure and the floweres were beautiful. The coffin arrangement I chose lasted for weeks afterwards so I was able to have them at home and enjoy them. The Order of Service was also dealt with by Hornchurch & Essex and we were very please with them. The people who transported my husband to the crematorium were kind and compasionate and looked after our every need. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hornchurch & Essex Funeral Directors.

My mother's funeral took place on 2nd September 2021. She had a funeral plan in place with Dignity. From making the initial contact with Sue at Hornchurch through to the service at the Crematorium, we couldn’t fault the help and guidance we were given. Sue and Erica are very knowledgeable and gave us sound advice, incorporating all our wishes for the day. The flowers and order of service were beautifully made and the Celebrant, Andrew Bryant , listened to our memories of mum and gave an excellent EULOGY at the service. Amy was in charge of the funeral on the day and was very kind and helpful, ensuring it all went very smoothly. All the staff at Hornchurch and Essex Funeral Directors helped to remove a lot of the worry and stress from us and ensured us the day would run according to plan.
