Heart of England Crematorium

For all the cremations I've been to over the years I have not found any fault. Everyone was courteous and polite and professional as you would expect. I'm going to my mums in nine days and will post if it's changed or I can find a fault. If after 29th June 2016 there're no posts from me you'll know everything was perfect.

Very good funeral for my nana. Excellent surroundings. Nice and clean place.

Had my mums funeral here and it was as good as such things can be. Only marred by my mother's mooching partner and her sister blatantly hiding the relationship they started whilst my mother was dieing in a hospice. Classy pair.

We frequent the crematoriums grounds monthly, as we visit past loved ones.

The crematorium functions as it should, with regular happenings as you would expect, and seems to be a fairly decent all round service.

However, we have been less impressed with the state of the memorials and in particular the benches that are dirty, with bird poo all over them, and memorials with weeds, rubbish, over grown foilage and as such a general lack of care, maintance and effort is shown. In particular, there is a gardener (tall, beard and cap) demonstrates a lack of work ethic, routinely sitting around, smoking seemingly moody and clearly has no interest in the customers nor gardens. On numerous occastions we have been ignored by him after smiling or saying hello. Its a shame because his presence makes for an unstelling experience.

Perhaps this guy should be spoken with by management.

Wanted to place a loved ones ashes in a plot. Waited nearly two weeks for them to get back to us. And wanted £4000. Outrageous after the funeral thought it was too much.

We held a funeral for a resident with no family members. A few members of my team from Platinum Nursing Care attended. The funeral was short but was dignified and beautiful. Thank you to all at Heart of England Crematorium and Geoff for conducting the funeral so well.
