James & Thomas Funeral Directors

I have used James & Thomas previously for my parents, therefore they seemed the obvious place to go for my late Uncle. As before, Anita helped us through the process, nothing to much trouble, including the 'Elvis' coffin. My Uncle would have loved it ! There are several Funeral directors in Guildford but I feel that the modern, minimal atmosphere is uplifting, not dowdy like so many others. Sadly, If you ever have to use this type of service
James & Thomas Guildford is highly recommended.

It's never an easy thing to do having to arrange a funeral, especially when it is one of your children, but Louise and the team at James and Thomas Merrow were brilliant, and made the process as pain free as is possible. From the initial consultation, liaison with the vicar, creation of the orders of service, right through to the transportation to the crematorium and the service itself. Every member of the team was exceptional and they have our thanks and gratitude for making it go as well as it did.

After losing my father James and Thomas Funeral Diectors were very helpful throughout the process. There staff were kind, patient, very accommodating and helped make the passing of my father easier for me, my brothers and my mother. A special thanks to Anita for guiding us throught the process.

Julie Brown at the Guildford office (Merrow) is amazing. She helped us negotiate our way through a very tricky and emotional time after my Dad’s death just before Christmas, and remained calm, professional and personable throughout. This company was amazing right up to the burial then they have been shocking and I would urge anyone to not use this unskilled company. Soon as the burial happened it went down hill, they damaged the gravestone which is costing me 100s of pounds to repair, they have threatened me and made me and my family very ill. I am now taking the company to court and preparing a case against them they are disrespectful and unskilled. Avoid this company who only consider money and not the grief you go through and are unskilled to complete a grave and leave it damaged. Be careful they have caused us so much stress and I would hate for anyone else to go through the nightmare we are left with thanks to this company.
