Boscombe Branch. From start to finish Neil and his team were amazing! First of all they were so gentle, very warm and extremely welcoming which was exactly what we needed after our father passing. The building was so clean I couldn’t believe it especially as we had visited another one not far from George Scott and they were not half as clean! Neil showed us around the building even into the fridge room where it was sterile and so on. Handling dads funeral we couldn’t have asked for a better funeral directors Neil and his team are amazing and handled everything so patiently. honestly if anyone needed a funeral directors I would point anybody in their direction! They give you what you need at such a hard time, they are straight forward and make sure not to confuse you by offering you products sepreatly rather they give you package options which include everything you need so you know you are paying one full price (except if you want fancy extras) we really felt like we done right by dad by leaving him in the care of George Scott and sons.
If I could rate 10* I would. Brilliant.

My family has used George Scott Funeral Services on two occasions in the past three years, dealing with both the Kinson branch and the Boscombe branch. I cannot imagine a better helping hand to guide one through the complexities of arranging a funeral. We used George Scott in Somerset Road Bournemouth when my mum passed away. From the moment we made contact with them they have acted in such a professional, caring and respectful manner. We dealt with Neil and he explained everything to us at our own pace. He listened to what we would like for our mum and ensured that it happened the way we had hoped.
During this time of covid it seems even more horrible to have to arrange a funeral with just a small number of people being able to attend and having to wear face masks made it tough. I can't imagine how hard funeral homes are working right now, how they must keep up with the changing and challenging legislation but these guys were all wonderful. From collecting my mum from the house, to preparing the body to be viewed to arranging the wonderful lady to preside over the service to driving us to the funeral they were perfect!
