I can’t thank Simon, Anna, Elaine and the rest of the team for their professionalism, kindness and help along with their excellent service and attention to detail. They made everything run so smoothly during a stressful time. The service was amazing. Anna was able to capture Neil’s personality brilliantly. He would have wanted a fun and humorous service and that’s what she did. Everyone commented on how apt it was and the best funeral they had been to, if there is such a thing. I would like to highly recommend Tappers funeral services in Christchurch. When my Mum passed away, I knew she didn’t want a service in a Crematorium. I had heard of Tappers in Christchurch who have their own ceremonial hall and was invited to visit when I was ready. My sister was over from Italy and we only had a short amount of time to make plans. From the moment we walked through the door, we were made comfortable by Jessica who took time to go through admin with us. She showed us flowers that they could order for us, how we could arrange the order of service and took us through to the ceremony hall and told us how we could have the seating arranged, depending on numbers attending. These details being arranged for us was very comforting and took the pressure off us immediately.
We then met Simon. Who was lovely. He talked us through what would be involved in the ceremony. We made an appointment to meet with Anna who was going to be our celebrant. We did not want a religious service and discussed our wishes. Anna got it spot on!
On the day, we were the only funeral of the day, which meant no pressure to rush and no waiting for another funeral party to finish. The funeral was a beautiful celebration of Mum’s life with laughter and tears. We had a slide show which was accompanied by pieces of Mum’s favourite music, which again was arranged by the team and I have to say it was just perfect.
At the end of the service, our guests were given a glass of champagne which we provided, to toast the life of Mum. She would have loved that touch!
Thank you again to the whole team at Tappers. Everyone agreed it was the best funeral they had been to! I also want to mention the cost. In hard times it was very reassuring to know that this wonderful service was considerably less money than having the service at Bournemouth Crematorium. Always a consideration when you are dealing with a loved ones finances.

The service was held in the Ceremony Hall at Christchurch, which made it very personal, and was led by Anna who is an excellent celebrant.
Everyone present and those watching from Canada, New Zealand and Germany on the live streaming service, were impressed and pleased with the quality of it all.
A bonus was that we could stay afterwards and enjoy a glass of bubbly in Mum’s honour.
I will thoroughly recommend your company to anyone who needs a good send off for a loved one.

I recently lost my dear Mum and entrusted all the funeral arrangements to Simon & Jessica at Tapper Funeral Service in Christchurch, who were absolutely marvelous and dealt with everything in a very professional manner. The celebration of Mum's life was held in their Ceremony Hall which was so much better than the "production line" of funerals at Bournemouth Crematorium. Anna conducted a memorable service and at the end we had a glass of champagne to toast Mum's long life. I can't thank Tapper enough for making what is a very stressful time so easy for myself and the family to say "goodbye" to Mum.

Our mum's funeral was all that we could wish for, it was a true celebration of the person she was and all that she meant to each & every one of us - and all possible due to the thoughtfulness and care of Anna & Simon, & their team at Tappers, who guided us through all. The compassion and dignity shown to mum from that initial phone call onwards, was professional yes, but more than that she was treated with so much care. In her final hours, for us all, there was that comfort that someone was looking out for her. The team carefully guided us through what needed to be done, listened to our wishes and ensured all ran smoothly. They honestly could not have been kinder.

It is always going to be such an emotional day for anyone who loses a loved one but, I have to say, Anna, Simon and Jessica were so caring and helpful to me and my family. Anna presented mums funeral service in such a well-prepared way, that it reflected the best of mum and her character. I couldn’t have asked for a better send off for mum. There was many people who loved her there and they all said how lovely and personal the service was. Thank you so much to all of you for making it easy for me and my family
