Peaceful and grounds are lovely

The grounds are lovely - especially in the summer when all the rose-beds are in bloom - and there's plenty of parking. The buildings date from the 1930s and are somewhat stark, and the Memorial Funeral Room is a bit gloomy. However, they provided a great organist, and the service went very smoothly.

The location is also very convenient for any subsequent reception (we went to the Talk House, 5 mins away, which was excellent).
Having attended funerals at both venues, on balance I think I prefer this to the more modern S Oxford crematorium, whose grounds are far less mature, and whose surroundings are flat fields.

Thankyou so much for the professional and dignified way you scattered my mother's ashes yesterday7th july my brother and myself drove up from Kent so her ashes could be with my father's we came away finally at peace
