The communication from Family Tree was clear and speedy. Our queries were answered each time and options were discussed at each stage.
The day itself ran smoothly and we couldn’t have wished for a more bespoke service.
As a family, we felt cared for. What more could you ask for at such a difficult time.
Thank you, Family Tree. I can recommend your services without any hesitation.
My father didn’t have many surviving friends or family and I couldn’t face an empty church it just would have been even more sad and not right.
I wanted an intimate and unique funeral for my father who was both of these traits. Jane and James were so helpful and said I could have a private ceremony by the graveside. They helped me with the process so much that it felt like I was celebrating my fathers life which is what I wanted.
I was apprehensive about seeing dad at the funeral directors, but I needn’t have been. Jane had dressed him beautifully; with his neckachief, shirt, cap, waistcoat, trousers and his slippers. I was able to say my goodbyes and my last memory of him looking so dapper.
The funeral day was perfect! Dad arrived and we carried him to the graveside where Jane played jazz music and then we all said some words.
I know that I wouldn’t have got through the whole process without Jane’s support over the phone and face to face with both James and Jane.
They are the most compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable and accommodating team you could ever wish to have by your side through the most difficult time of your life.
Thank you both
The light touch support and attention to detail offered by Jane (and James) helped us to find our way through all the decisions, in a practical sense of reminding us what needed doing and also helping us to to find what would feel and work best for us in our situation.
As a family we felt very cared for and respected as we went through the process. I will be forever grateful and whole heartedly recommend them.
I've been reflecting on how your approach challenges lots of society's stigmas around death in such a compassionate and gentle way, and that has helped us so much in our grief.
And now less than one month later, our dear granny has died, and you are here for us again - even coming to her house on Christmas day, and helping us run a drop-in so that 20 of her friends and family could come and see her resting in peace. You've continued to give comfort and support as we plan a completely different community celebration, which will be exactly right for her, here in her beloved home town.
Thank you.
