I dealt with Charles and he really did go above and beyond for me/ my family.
Excellent communication from start to finish (even out the office he'd reply to me), gave me as many Computer aided designed as i wanted, even wrote my brothers name Chinese. The finished gravestone was exactly how i wanted it.
I spoke to Charles on the 28/08 and asked if it was at all possible to have it completed by the 07/09 (my brothers 1 year anniversary) and he went and completed it the next day.
Really appreciate their workmanship and compassion. Highly recommend.

Mr Charles Neal patiently, thoughtfully, creatively and with attention to detail worked with us on a memorial for our grandmother. He and his team made several trips to the cemetery, initially to clean and refurbish an old headstone and plot , and then to make adjustments for us. Throughout the process he kept us informed . We very much appreciate the fantastic service and finished work.

If I could leave zero stars I would!
What a terrible service!
Things started off okay, but due to a serious error by the company, the service became very unprofessional, unsympathetic and inept!
We took our business elsewhere!
UPDATE:
I actually gave the company all the information they needed, including a design of the headstone! I was told that the someone would then contact me with a quote. I waited a few weeks - no response! I then had to go into the shop to chase matters up and was again told that someone would contact me. I received an email after a few days informing me that the company had lost all my paperwork! When I called the shop to ask them to have another look for the paperwork, the proprietress was literally shouting at me, telling me that she didn't have the paperwork and that I must send the information again! She was angry with me! Why? I explained to her that we were the ones who were bereaved and that the company had made the mistake and should demonstrate some level of sympathy! It was a deeply distressing experience! How do I now explain all this to my elderly mother, who after losing her husband of fifty years, has to start this whole process again, obviously with a more competent and sympathetic company!
Final update!
I gave the exact same details to a very well known, relatively large and established family company in East London and received a very professional, yet personal service! I also received their quote and relevant forms in the post the very next day! Not only that, they can have the headstone ready seven weeks sooner! Finally, I saved a significant sum of money!
Enough said, I think!

We met with John to arrange a headstone for my dad's grave. He and his son Charles were incredibly helpful. I received regular communication from them thriughout the whole process and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommended them 😊

I recently lost my sister and myself and my brother in law had to arrange a funeral despite coping with a shock loss - I appreciate we probably aren’t alone in that. Arranging a funeral was something we thought would be completely impossible for us to do given the circumstances. However, Theresa and Charles went above and beyond to make everything as easy for us as possible. I appreciate being in this type of job requires a certain type of person, with the right amount of sympathy and compassion, but their sympathy and compassion felt sincere and honest and at no point did I feel like they were running a business but in fact acting as friends and someone who cared.

We had to make some last minute changes (twice actually, including on the day), and these guys literally bent over backwards to accommodate... they didn’t charge us any more and not once did I get the impression that they were annoyed or growing impatient with us (which they would have been right to do so).

Fantastic people and I honestly couldn’t think of a better company to look after your loss better.

Thank you Theresa, Charles and John.

For what should have been a very difficult time for us, Charles and his team have made us feel at ease and supported every step of the way. Nothing was too much work for them, they have treated us with the upmost patience and professionalism. I have to say we are very grateful, and although we hope he won't need their services again any time soon, we will use them again when the sad time comes. We would highly recommend this family run business.
Thank you.

I am very happy with the service. Charles gave us a competitive quote for the inscription with pictures attached (no other company provided the pictures of how it would actually look like). He updated us on the progress in a timely manner and did a wonderful job on the memorial. I cannot wish for more. Thank you!

What a lovely team of people. Family run, personal touch. Down to earth way of taking you through the process. I had no worries and peace of mind from the first phone call with Maggie. Then with Theresa and John at premises in Church Road. When someone passes you can’t really take it all in. Theresa made good suggestions and made it easy. I can’t thank them enough. I wish them all the best.
