Very disappointed with the aftercare. There were a few issues on the day and no attempt was made to resolve them - just pushing for payment and ignoring the issues.

I wouldn’t recommend based on this as there was no attempt whatsoever to correct the issues on the day.

My Father used this service and they refused to give information to the son. they only work for money and the one who pays the most!
This coop helped step children steal inherit belongings, nasty place!

I thought at first how lovely the staff were when arranging my mums funeral . The Sunday evening before her funeral I was called by the nan who says he would be leading the funeral and gave me his phone number to contact him if any problems or queries I checked with the office a day or so before the funeral to double check all arrangements. On the morning of the funeral whilst traveling on the M1 I had a call from the florist to say they couldn’t deliver the flowers as the shop was closed . I tried to call the office and unable to get them to answer . I phoned the undertaker and he had no idea what was happening as he was unwell and handed the funeral to his nephew . He gave me a number of a central office who didn’t know what was going on but said would call me back . In the mean time the florist was told to just take the flowers to the cemetery myself and family were distraught we didn't know where our mum was ..I arranged for the flowers to be taken to my mums home . When the hurst arrived I was told there was a lot of staff sickness and I should have been told . The undertaker arrived with the hurst and had to place the floral tributes on it When I went over to the hurst I saw my mums coffin was badly damaged down one side and paint was flaking off . I had s call several days after the funeral and told the problem was due to staff shortages I have complained about the state of the coffin and they says they won’t charge me for the coffin !!!!!! Does this make it ok to bury my mum in a sub standard coffin ? We are heartbroken thinking of our mum in a tatty sub standard coffin fir eternity . Now they are saying the office was closed for staff training on the day ???? What do you book a funeral and then suddenly decide to not worry about the funerals that are booked and have staff training ? They are saying I was told !!!! The undertaker who was supposed to be doing the funeral obviously knew nothing about staff training on that day . I appreciate you can’t control staff sickness but total lies is unacceptable . And to say no one noticed the damage on the coffin it was so noticeable . I regret using the coop they have no respect snd it has put a huge doubt in my mind about the care my mum had while with them . They say sorry but it is just a word they couldn’t care less about the distress they have caused my family . I will never forgive them DiSGUSTED

Joan was helpful, kind and compassionate whiist arranging our father's funeral. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Couldn't of asked for a kinder person at such a sad time for all the family .
