Happy Home Furnishers

They have some nice stuff there. We have bought a quite a few things to furnish our bungalow. The only criticism is that they are not able to haggle on the price. I like to be able to negotiate a better price when possible. It adds to the fun of buying stuff.

We went to Happy Homes Friday morning with the intention of buying a mattress. Good selection of mattresses and range of prices. After a period of time, sales person came over to chat which is fare enough. But he should have some knowledge of the products they are selling. Terminology like 'yes these are the same 'mattresses which clearly they are not, 'this one has springs' whilst prodding it and 'this one feels nice' whilst stroking it. Just did not do it for us and so they lost a sale. We went to leeks across road were a very knowledgeable lady (may have been Lara) helped us and made a sale. Sorry Happy Homes!

Shocking company for customer service went to the cross hands store on 29-06-2020 looking for a new bed for my son who has recently been assessed for asd he needed a new bed as he wasn’t managing to climb up the steps to his mid sleeper, found a bed in happy home store and paid and signed for delivery in 2 weeks time we questioned the time they were giving as we were in the middle of the covid pandemic but we were assured that delivery would still be fine for 2 weeks time on a Monday made sure there would be someone home to take delivery no delivery turned up when we rang the store we were told that it takes 2-3 weeks to order from manufacturer and they hadn’t had any update from the manufacturer but they would try and find out what was happening. Week 3 no delivery and no phone call from the store to let us know when it would be delivered, Rang store again only to be told that they still didn’t know anything about delivery of bed and didn’t know when they would know either and are now blaming covid that the manufacturers are back open and working normal hours but there’s a backlog because of covid!! really a backlog now but there wasn’t on the 29-06-2020 and they’re telling me that they didn’t know of any backlog or problems to do with covid in June!! This company is quick enough to take your money but doesn’t want to help with any after sales service so my son is currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor!! They wouldn’t give any details of a head office and said all complaints in writing to cross hands store and they will forward to head office I may look stupid but I’ve never known to write to a store first and they forward to head office terrible terrible company will never use or recommend ever again!! And not even a courtesy call to customers waiting for deliveries to let them know there’s a problem

Good selection of furniture at excellent prices - now have a super sofa delivered very quickly at low cost

Lovely furniture, just bought 2 door sliding door wardrobe good quality. Finally put wardrobe up, easy & simple instructions, very pleased with it, there were parts missing, but phoned on Easter Monday & they dropped off another kit on Wednesday to finish job, great customer service. 10/10

Lovely selection of furnishings, sofas, chairs, dining tables, coffee tables, bedroom furniture, pictures, mirrors etc. Sale now on.

Quality and after sales is completely rubbish.

Good choices & prices. Sadly very long delivery which didn't help us. Staff friendly. Plenty of free parking.
