A friendly team of knowledgeable staff, and a relaxed and chilled atmosphere for gamers of all types. Stocked to the gills with everything you need, and competitively priced. I love this place <3

It is a Gamer's Cafe, for loves of Magic the Gathering , D&D and board games. Looks like an old pub from the outside. Friendly and accessible for those with mobility issues.

Our first ever time gaming today at the Mug And Meeple! What an amazing environment and experience all round - The staff are brilliant and always engage with their customers - A wide variety of stock for sale and always something new to find and experience! 10/10 Can't wait for the next return!

Super friendly shop. Been to Friday Night magic twice having never played on in person before. Community was very welcoming of new inexperienced players.

Came in there recently with my son who has gotten into Warhammer and DND. Lovely shop with so many cool things, very helpful and kind staff (Caroline). Will definitely be back!

A quaint boardgaming venue with a pretty rad name.
It's a repurposed watering hole full of character, although you'd wish it could be a smidgen more spacious.
But if you like playing your tabletop games in situ of the hubbub and buzz of nearby gamers, this'll do just fine.

The location is super ideal and accessible, and refreshments are served hot or cold.

A lovely gamer cafe with large variety of games. Staff was very polite and professional during our visit. It's nice that people are allowed to bring their own food and drinks, especially since Subway, McDonald's, Burger King and Gregg's are 2 streets away. It is also possible to purchase cold and warm drinks along with snacks at the cafe. We played some board games, had hot chocolate and an enjoyable time.
