Salterforth Nurseries

An out of the way Garden centre just outside of the lovely village of Salterforth.
Follow the road past the Anchor inn and continue down the hill then go up the hill about half way and its on your right.
The centre is built on a hill with different terraced levels. It's easy to access all levels at any age. Most levels are covered so a meander even when raining is delightful. A feeling of being inside and out side at the same time.
The centre is well stocked with everything that you might need for the garden.
The staff are very helpful and are willing to spend time and information about types of plants 🪴 etc.
We've been a few times and have never been disappointed. The trip to this garden centre and the views around it are fabulous on its own but the centre itself is the cherry 🍒 on the cake.
I highly recommend Salterforth nurseries for all round satisfaction.

First time visit to this lovely little gem of a garden centre from the entrance which is deceiving you enter a small but adequate carpark.
But be prepared for a nice long hill stroll as the garden centre is extensive an is very well stocked.
A landscape gardener's dream with well established trees bushes Alan Titchmarsh would have a field day
Did not see a cafe there but we were on mission and found what we needed with some friendly help from owner very friendly and knowledgeable

First time at this lovely garden centre. They couldnt have been more helpful . The advice showed knowledge about what would be my best choice and I was given plenty of time to discuss my options without feeling under any pressure. Even had time to pot up my plants into their pots for me. Fantastic service. Thank you.

We have been looking all over for a certain item for our garden. We found it on line at this lovely place.
It is some way from our home but the trip was well worth it. The staff especially John could not have been more helpful. We would unreservedly recommend this garden centre. Well worth a visit.

Our first visit to the nursery and was very impressed with the massive stock and great selection of plants and pots. Lovely shop with everything you need for your garden and everything reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back.
