Wonderful place, have come here (and worked here previously), for years.
Decided to come here for the first time since before covid and come for cake and coffee with the children.
Decent sized slices of wonderful cake, lovely coffee and was very clean and tidy throughout.

Popped in for a quick bite and to see the plants. A large variety of plants and the sandwiches were very good. Staff was very friendly and they have quite a large selection of clothing gifts and nursery items for sale.

Shocked to find that Shelford sell caged birds! These birds shown signs of stress. Stripped of freedom, sold and to anyone who may have no knowledge of care or facilities! Efforts are being made to stop this practice in India! There is no justification beyond profit!

Absolutely great for shopping especially Christmas time. We've visited the place in December and spent about 2-3 hours here looking for great deals and crafts ideas. The place is very big and we'll organised. There are several sections: garden, glass House 1, 2, 3, toys for kids, aquariums/fishes, etc.
The food in the canteen was also very tasty and fresh, the coffee and the cake mouthwatering and the "terrace-like" covered area with plenty of tables really enjoyable.
Can recommend for both adults and kids, families and people who just generally love to discover new things and ideas, or simply would like to buy a specific item. Prices are moderate and in some cases surprisingly low (managed to buy some beautiful indoor plants for a relatively very low price). I can recommend it.

I love Scottsdales at Christmas time. It's so beautifully decorated.

The breakfast we had in the cafe however was not up to much. Pretty much left all food only really able to drink our tea. Ingredients were cheap, and tasted it. I had an upset tum instantly 😔 so disappointed !!!!!!!

Big selection of Christmas gifts on display. Plenty of landscaping products for those larger projects. We chose some nice trellis effect fence panels. Busy place at times.

Best Christmas display by far. They outclass all other garden centres in the area. Food is good too but a bit pricey for what you get. The cheese scone was too stodgy & I couldn't eat it

Probably the best Christmas experience and display in the East of England, we travel from around 45 mins away every year. Lots to see, and the highlight is always the cafe for lunch. We aren't usually one for cafe's but it feels more like a nice restaurant. A really great Christmas menu including hot meals, sandwiches, toasties and hot wraps cooked by chefs, as well as a large variety of local drinks, home made cakes, crisps, hot drinks etc. We had chefs special which was a BBQ pork, cheese and red onion hot wrap with chips and salad, and all was divine! Overall it's a great place to spend 3 hours of your time, especially in the lead up to Christmas.
