Simpson's Nurseries Limited

What a fantastic find! We were searching for a place to get a variety of plants (without all the usual tat for sale) when we found this little gem. There is ample parking for parents or wheelchair requirements, although pathways inside can be a bit muddy and narrow. There is a wonderful selection of plants and to top it off there is also a very good little coffee shop. It is so refreshing to find a place that is not over priced and is still family run and owned! We will definitely make this our first stop when we need more plants (and a cup of coffee and a slice of cake whilst we decide).

Great experience have bought many plants from here and all were perfect both ornamental plants or fruit and vegetable plants perfect!

This is my local garden centre. It has a large selection of plants that are seasonally rotated through the year (as you would expect) The large arched polly tunnel provides some protection for the flowers as you arrive. The pricing generally is fantastic for the flowers! The coffee shop on site is so useful, especially since the now wait on you. There's a nice selection of food hot & cold, the coffee is nice enough. BUT they don't have a great selection of tools or extras, so you might look elsewhere for this. The general feel is rustic and it pulls it off.

Update: They are adding a large new section and therefore everything is a bit of a mess at the moment. BUT it's always Still worth a visit

Today was not good, I had potato and broccoli bake. It tasted like yesterday's left overs. Sorry I love coming over but I am feeling quiet quesie and the only thing I can think of is the broccoli bake i had lunch time. Avoid broccoli bake!!! Apart ftom that brilliant place

The cafe is absolutely superb, with the most extensive menu full of old favourites and new ideas. The mushroom roulade was like an egg- shaped mushroom omelette. I absolutely loved it. The baguett was generously filled with salad and crisps. Must try the Mediterranean veg stack next time. Highly recommended!

Went tonight to pick up a plant pot x. There were some lovely pots to choose from and helpful staff who were getting ready for Christmas trees. Lovely place. Will be back.

Fantastic nursery selling a huge range of healthy well grown plants including a good selection of trees, perennials and hedging. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Compost, pots, fertilizers, canes and other garden essentials are also stocked. Proper garden centre extremely well run, its all about the plants here.

This is a lovely garden center that is priced really well and the plants are excellent quality.
The staff are extra knowledgeable and can help with lots of your questions on plants and gardening 👍 they have pots soil trees and shrubs and so much more.
