Toad Hall an excellent garden centre all year but excels at Christmas when they build a magical grotto and it is free to visit, but you can pay for a visit to Santa and get a little gift. The grotto contains magical lights and animated creatures as well as static displays. Put it in your calendar for next year. While at Toad Hall I suggest you spare time for a drink and a snack at the excellent cafe before you browse the huge display of Christmas decorations and garden plants and equipment.

Amazing atmosphere for a garden centre. SUPERB FOR CHRISTMAS! Great display and Santa's grotto. Really enjoyable for children. Cafe staff were very polite, overall a nice place to go.

Friendly service and prices are better than most garden centres. Lay out is brilliant as well.

They have a nice selection of Christmas decorations out currently, not the cheapest of places to visit, but I loved the Christmas animal scene that is setup. The staff I spoke to were all friendly and helpful.

Toad Hall. Plants, summerhouses, good quality sheds. Bird food and much more. They have a great Christmas selection along with a santas grotto(although he wasn’t there at the time). Well worth a visit

What a great surprise! Have driven passed many times but needed primroses, daffodils and tulips so popped in. Great selection, helpful team and even had time for apple crumble tray bake and coffee; very happy 🐰!

We stopped here for a quick look around and visited the cafe. The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick! We had coffee and cake and both were delicious. The cafe itself is nicely decorated, very clean and plenty to offer in terms of food and drink. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Fabulous garden centre. Really lovely staff. And all the plants looked very healthy and well looked after...needless to say my car was filled with a lovely collection of them. Then to end a perfect visit, we had a delicious slice of homemade cake and a drink in their lovely little cafe, served by the most delightful lady.
