Beautiful garden centre! Beautiful displays, both inside and outside. Small aquatic section, but lovely to see healthy happy fish. Plenty of car parking spaces, even on a wet day when the store was quite busy! Will definitely be returning when I am next in the area!

Visited today for a walk around and once again ended up buying a plant I had been after for a while. The plant in question I was being priced at around the price of £30. Here we got it for £10. So was very happy. This place also has a lake land, the works and a sainsbury. Really enjoyed it.

Dobbies is always one of my favourite places visit with my little girl and or with my mum.

We love the flowers, the plants and my daughter gets very excited about making the garden look beautiful.

Of course when you go to Dobbies you have to have a tea and cake or a meal and the food is always amazing! My daughter (she is 9) lives a scone with cream and a hot chocolate.

The staff are always lovely and willing to do whatever they can to help.

Keep up the good work.

Fantastic place to visit. Plenty of good quality plants. There is a Lakeland, pet store and fruit and veg stall plus plenty of different shops inside, amongst them Cotton trader, Weird Fish and Pavers shoes. The restaurant does a really good deal for over 60's of a main meal and a cake for £9.99.

I have been to this garden centre quite a few times, always fouls the cafe staff are not very friendly. This time I booked a Halloween event for my children to go , however is was not a good experience. Firstly, it is lack of signs in the centre to show people which way to go for the event. Staff in there are not very helpful. I asked a staff where to go but he send me to the cafe. The cafe has two big long queues, after waiting in the queue for a while I had a chance to ask the till staff but she doesn’t know about the event and has to ask another staff. Finally one staff told me where I need to go but the event itself was not very good. Only few little decorations in there. The music was a bit load for little children, and they only get to paint a small square plant pot and do 1 colouring paper. They has some hot food and a bit of disco dance. TBH I was quite looking forward to it after I read the description of the event online. But it wasn’t as good as it sounds. I would not bother to go to any event in the garden centre again and I would avoid to go to the cafe as the queue is always long and the staff are always miserable.

It's a lovely garden centre, it says dogs are welcome and yet there is not one bin inside incase your puppy has an accident. The cafe area is lovely but the doggy area is being squeezed smaller and smaller with people without dogs taking up tables too even though there were tables elsewhere available. The Cafe has some lovely food and drinks on offer but they are very slow at serving and for not the first time my can if pop was warm.

This garden centre used to be really good. It now is a mess. The Christmas display is pathetic and the cafe does not sell gluten free cake! The soft play was closed for a party. All in all a wasted trip. Won't bother again

Restaurant is really good. Generous portions and nice food. Generally the garden centre is pretty good, with an actual garden centre as well as a pretty good range of shops. More like a little shopping mall! They are half way through opening a little Sainsbury's there too. Could do with more disabled parking spaces.
