Seagrave Nurseries

Two new 2ft Yew Pyramid Trees arrived from Seagrave Nurseries yesterday. Excellent condition. Potted up yesterday. Image attached. Delivery was smooth by courier and on the date we had been told by Seagrave. Great Service, wonderful trees

Dreadful service. I spent £1800 on rootball trees to give them the best chance. When I ordered them I was promised they were in stock. Two months later I got bare root and many were already dead and below size. Many more months of backwards and forwards I get sent some replacements but they are also bare root, and in even worse condition. No refund, no apology. No choice but to take a legal route. Avoid this company at all costs!

Looking at past reviews for this company it seems that it is pure pot luck whether you get a good experience or not. Unfortunately I did not. Should have gone with my instincts but made an impulse buy based on a 'flash sale' price. Of course if I look today I can clearly see the sale has been extended, and I would expect it will nearly always be there! So I ordered 6 laurels and after 3 weeks wait they finally turned up yesterday packed in two boxes. I say packed but really I mean chucked in, for there was no internal packaging to prevent movement. This would explain why all 6 plants had broken stems and even the plastic pots were smashed or damaged on 3. What is really annoying is I have just seen larger and better condition plants from my local diy store and cheaper too. So take a punt if you like but I certainly will never again.

I purchased a small (3 foot) olive tree as an early Christmas present for myself. The tree was delivered in excellent condition in a large pot, as good a specimen as it I had chosen it myself. The delivery driver was very helpful and willingly carried it up my long drive. All-in-all a very positive experience.

I ordered a beautiful red pyracantha shrub from Seagrave Nurseries it was on offer up to half price off a mature very large shrub. Admittedly l have had to wait awhile for delivery but as soon as they had it they shipped it straight away. I was blown away with the size of the shrub and it’s a very healthy specimen just what l wanted for a great price. The delivery driver was excellent too and kindly bought it round to the back of our property and even he was amazed at the size of the shrub. I would definitely recommend thank you Seagrave Nurseries.

FABULOUS PLANTS, HEALTHY, CHEAPEST BY OTHERS BY FAR AND VERY LARGE. The only bad thing I can say is that the tracking number didn't work and the day they told me for delivery was wrong, I rang them and it hadn't even been loaded onto the pallet. I was told I would get s new tracking number but never got it just turned up a day later!

After ordering and reading some of the reviews I did have a few concerns however these were soon cast aside.
After a week of placing the order I sent an email requesting if an approximate delivery timeframe could be provided. I received almost an immediate response from Simon confirming 10 - 14 days.
I then received an email confirming delivery would be the following day which was within 14 days from ordering.
I was not in to take delivery but the delivery driver had kindly followed the delivery instruction I had left and delivered the palm safely to my back garden.
The palm has exceeded all my expectations it’s in superb quality and much larger than I expected.
It’s a fraction of the price compared to other nurseries and if Seagrave do run prolonged discount sales I see absolutely nothing wrong with that it’s just giving people the opportunity to purchase quality plants at fantastic prices for a longer period of time!! And rest assured the original prices stated are most certainly not over inflated I’ve done my research on other nursery sites all of which compare to the original price stated for the size of palm I have received.
10 out of 10 Seagrave Nurseries I’m impressed and will certainly be ordering from you again and would highly recommend anyone reading this review to do the same!!

We ordered 15 potted yew hedging plants and they were in excellent condition. Good roots and healthy plants with super delivery service (quick delivery, well packaged on a pallet and courteous driver). We planted in June (mulched and well cared for especially in the recent hot weather)and after a month have already put on a few inches of growth! Very happy.
