Beautiful piece of Canterbury - Greyfriars Gardens. Walk along the beautiful canal or take a boat tour, have a picnic with your family or read a book. One can always find something very special and nice for him/herself

Beautiful secret garden away from the masses. I love that they don't use pesticides or herbicides and allow nature to do its thing, but also are bringing history back to life from the original monastry. Will definitely return.

Really beautiful and tranquil. We hadn't planned to go here, but were looking for a time filler, wandered into the hospital and were "upsold" a joint ticket. It really was the nicest part of our day. So peaceful, it was impossible to believe there was a bustling city right outside.

Really clear water and view from the foot bridge south of the park however the main park itself is not as amazing. Worth for a quick stop of 10mins perhaps for travellers and can walk around in the main park but not huge amount to see.

A lovely garden full of flowers, plants and trees. The site may be more interesting if they add some guides who tell the story of friars in England shedding light on this part of story little known.
We hope to return some day in the future to see the restored vines!

Really peaceful place. Good for trolling down, have a quiet moment and be with yourself. There are ducks around as well. Nice spot to take pictures!📸

Really disappointed. Was nice quiet spot and free to visit. Now they charge 6£ per person and it’s worse than it was. Just mown grass (inc the wildflower meadow) and less planting than before. Even the nice old benches are gone. The paths haven’t even been maintained. No sign on of the £10000 worth of planting they say justifies admission (and my visit was early September!) Wouldn’t recommend, even it was free!!!
