As an alternative to buying roses for my wife this year on Valentine’s Day, I surprised her by having a Nest 3rd Generation Learning Thermostat installed to our Vaillant Turbomax 242e Combi Boiler. To ensure that this item was installed safely, I contacted Niaz of Fixcrews Plumbing & Heating who came out to us within few hours of calling him. A quick assessment of the task in hand, our old Honeywell CM51 Thermostat was removed and a smart Nest Thermostat was fitted & Commissioned in under 2 hours. I am really grateful to Niaz for neat and tidy installation with no fuss or bother. However; I am disappointed with my wife’s reaction of total dismay for her Valentine’s Day treat. No treats for her next year!
