I wanted to give a hearty thanks and high recommendation to Mal Jones. He has been here at the house a few times fixing problems and always was on time and ready for the job. So many times I’ve noticed that technicians can tend to show up having forgotten something, making excuses for missing parts, or not prepared. This is not how Mal does things. He is a professional in every way.

Mal always arrives on time and has a friendly greeting and smile. He gets right to work and fixes it right. It’s evident that he has many years of experience and is up to any task.

Most recently, we had a full boiler failure in the house and Mal was able to fix it promptly- installing a new and efficient combi-boiler using quality parts. The job was done in an efficient manner and we were able to carry on in the house without interruption to daily life. (Except having the water off for a bit, of course, while new plumbing was fitted.) A very courteous person indeed to have in the home.

Our new unit works perfectly and silently, a huge improvement from the unit we had before. I’d recommend that anyone looking to upgrade a boiler should just go for it. Well worth it.

I would recommend Mal Jones for emergency repair, or for any job because I know that besides being an excellent craftsman, he is kind, honest, and reliable.

I first called Mal during the Beast from the East after having problems with my central heating. Although very busy, he gave me a time and turned up exactly as he promised. The problem was sorted efficiently and followed up two weeks with a call to service the boiler.

A couple of weeks later, there was a problem with a boiler in a house I rent out. Again he kept to the promised appointment and advised me honestly regarding needing to replace the boiler. After asking him to go ahead with the work on Thursday the new boiler was installed by the following Tuesday for a fair price.

Phoned Central Heating Services UK Ltd because of a fault with my central heating system. Mal called within an hour and immediately diagnosed fault. Had to get a part so arranged to call later that day to fit which he duly did. Would definitely recommend Central Heating Services UK Ltd and Mal in particular.

Had replacement central heating boiler replaced by Mal Central Heating Services, Porthcawl. What a brilliant service. Replacement of boiler was completed in a day and workmanship/efficiency was second to none. Have to stress how little mess was involved, floors were covered by sheets and any mess, of which there was little, was cleaned up as they went along and after the job was completed. Highly recommended.

Had to call a Plummer out to fix a substantial leak from my boiler that had developed over the weekend. Only discovered when it came through the ceiling downstairs. I tried calling several Plummer’s but Mal from Central Heating Services UK Ltd was the first to respond. I had never used him before but he identified the problem immediately and had to order a part which he fitted the following day resolving the leak.
Mal kept in touch letting me know when he was going to call and what needed to be done while we waited for the part and what he was doing during fitting it. It was a difficult part to get a seal on and wasn’t as easy as some other boilers he had worked on with the same problem. However he persevered and did the job well.
Was able to take payment a variety of ways which made it easy for me.
Great overall first experience.

Mal was very professional and friendly. Arrived on time and installed a new boiler and thermostat. He set up the heating system and explained everything to my 96 year old father. Also returned to explain it again. I would recommend Mal

Awful , just awful ,Mal Jones installed boiler incorrectly,
No air gap on the condensate pipe (as per install instructions)
Now need to shell out for a new boiler
