Broxbourne Service Station

This petrol station is barely standing. It is in desperate need of a update. The petrol pumps themselves are extremely old and tired along with everything else. The shop looks like something from the 1980's and I will be very surprised if this is really from esso chain as 99 percent of the Esso's I've been in are normally updated....
The staff are usually polite so can't thought them tbh. There is a cash machine (ATM) on the forecourt but even that looks like its from the 1970's with spit, food and what looks like fizzy drink constantly chucked over it plus it charges you too take money out... This is something esso really need to look into. Last time I checked, they was short of a few Bob...sort it out ESSO

The filling station itself is OK, but do not use the "valeting" service on the forecourt my work got a brand new van (£32,000) and the very first time I took it to be cleaned they put some kind of acid on the wheels which melted the paint off, it then ran down onto the black plastic centre caps and permanently stained them silver, we took the van back to them and the completely denied putting any chemicals on the wheels despite me watching them doing it. Cost of damage £240 for paint, and £160 for new centre caps.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

The worst! Don't even walk past it if you are on a diet. just looking in the general direction will break it.

Good service, decent food options, take care with food that may have been sitting for a while - some of it looked old but I didn't eat any myself.

Nice place to relax with a drink too.

The pumps here are not clearly labelled. I wanted to put diesel in my car but accidentally filled the tank with monster munch instead. This has not made a huge difference to the performance of my car, but it does now smell like pickled onions.

Highly appreciate the service they provide at this dangerous pandemic time. Full of choices in household needs. And fare pricing and very friendly service unforgettable.

Keep an eye on the fuel prices. I overheard someone moan about how it got hiked up. When fuel elsewhere ran out....
