Central Co-op Food & Petrol - Hartshay Hill, Ripley

I have just been in for air and a very nice man cleaning the forecourt not only showed me where to find my tyre pressures but did it for me. I am 67 and cannot stoop too long . This guy was very pleasant and helpful. I tried to ring but your listed phone number is not recognised. Well done that man.

Totally disgusted with one member of staff. Refused my niece cigarettes as she didn't have id. I then went into to ask for them was also refused. We then drove to my niece's home to pick up her passport we went back and she was still refused because she put the passport on the till not in the persons hand. My sister then went in to get the cigarettes and was also refused. My sister then asked for the persons name and contact number to.complain but the number is unrecognisable. If I could put a 0 star I would. Totally unprofessional service and rude staff

24 hour garage . Sells booze, fags, groceries and petrol ⛽ 24/7. Staff are realy friendly and helpful. Also has a free cash machine and a Costa coffee ☕ machine

Good opening hours, however the place has gone down hill in the last 3 years, never seems to be any stock looks like its closing down most of the time. Keep discontinuing items, doesn't even seem to sell bubble bath/ shampoo and conditioner and barely any food and drinks.

Staff are lovely, the shop its self is very poor and empty.

Ridiculously hard to enter the pump from the main road; How there haven’t been more accidents is somewhat of a mystery. Eventually, once at the pump, the fuel pumping has been VERY SLOW to start to pump . When eventually my tank was re-fuelled, then we have the QUEUE; Folks buying a week’s worth of grocery shopping, while I wait to pay for tank of fuel. My advice is AVOID AT ALL COSTS, AS THIS PLACE IS USED AS MINI CO-OP SHOP, SO YOU CAN EITHER AVOID OR WAIT 5 TO 10 minutes to pay waiting while the other customers process and pay for their groceries in the same queue(s) (plural, THAT IS when staffing levels allows for 2 people on tills, rather than one)

Seems to be hit and miss depending on who is on the tills at that particular moment in time. Some staff are very friendly and professional, and one or two are grumpy and unprofessional.

Ignore bad reviews, this place is awesome, never had a bad experience here. Great stock variation, prices and welcome. I should stop to notice their names at some point. excellent service, every time. thank you

I use hartsy Hill all the time for my car and motorbike, the staff are always cheerful eager to help and there's always a good selection in the shop, never go anywhere else.
