It's a petrol station! Competitively priced fuels and decent range of groceries in the shop. Polite and efficient staff sometimes delayed by very weird customers.

Only needed to fill up the motorbike and they assume very biker is gonna ride off without paying. I think your find car or van drivers can drive off without paying too. Treated like a criminal even though I'm a paying customer what a joke.

Went there on Saturday 5th Nov put £15 (£169.9 PL) of unleaded around midday, paid in cash then driving off the forecourt and noticed the fuel gauge needle hasn't moved (needle did go down on Friday 4th Nov), told a staff there that I used pump 6, nothing got pumped and didn't feel any pressure at all when holding the nozzle. They advised to contact customer service and they'll do their own investigation whether it pumped fuel into my car. I drove down to Morrisons Fuel station at Parkwood, I put in £12 (£160.9 PL) of unleaded around 12.30pm, the needle moved on the fuel gauge, clearly this indicates that pump 6 at Shell wasn't working or they're simply running out of unleaded and didn't recalibrate the pump or the attendant press the wrong button to authorize me to use it.

15th Nov 2022
I received an email from Shell Customer Service, they said "Your concern has been raised with the Retailer and as advised, following pump reconciliation they have found no issues with the pump on the day of your visit. Additionally, no similar complaints were received on that day.

Please be informed that our site Retailers and Dealers conduct daily checks on both the quantity and quality of the fuel in the tanks to make sure the highest quality fuel is being displayed while our fuel pumps are checked and approved by Trading Standards on an annual basis, and more frequently at our busier stations.

With regards to fuel tank capacity, this is estimated volume and can vary because of design characteristics, the manufacturing process, and even the physics associated with the components that monitor emissions and the electronics of the fuel system and fuel indicators.

Also fuel gauge is intended as an approximate indication of the fuel level. Manufacturers may set the “full” indicator at a level just below the tank's actual capacity. Reserve fuel also can be present if the manufacturer designs the fuel gauge to indicate empty at a level above the actual point where the tank runs out of gas.

We are sorry to hear that this concern have gave you the cause to contact us, for more information in regards to your car tank capacity, please contact your car manufacturer"

There's nothing wrong with my car, it's just turned 3 years old and bought early March 2022 and had it first MOT in September 2022 passed with flying colours, no faults found.

I never said anything about my car fuel gauge being full, I said on the email I sent I put in £15 worth of fuel, the needle on the fuel gauge didn't move and I didn't feel any pressure on the nozzle, even the staff asked me that he was confused that we ought to feel pressure when pumping and he'll notify the maintenance to have a check on pump 6 whilst I contact customer service which he recommended. I have photo proof of the receipt from both Shell and Morrisons Fuel stations and photo of the fuel gauge, before and after, from both station's on the same day, 30 mins after going to Shell. But customer service isn't interested. I have proof but shell want to keep their £15.
