Sainsbury's Petrol Station

A very large and available superstore. It has home-wares, cafe, clothes, toys and technology in addition to a good selection of food. Parking is good too. The only down side is that if you need only a few things you find yourself having to walk allot between the isles to try and get them, but you can go to a smaller store.

Good selection and helpful staff. But Healthy Start Voucher users beware. Due apparently to a change in system set up, you can now only use 1 voucher per transaction regardless of how much eligible goods you have bought. Helpful staff at tills cannot override this.

Since the 5p cut on fuel duty was announced they have increased the price by 7p a litre. Robbery.

Good petrol station, has lots of pumps so isn’t generally too busy when I’ve been. There’s a jet wash and a place to add water etc to your car. All the basics inside the shop which is always helpful. Only disappointment is that you can’t pay at the pump and have to go inside, however the staff are generally friendly so it’s not a big problem!

Conveniently located next to a large store, jet wash and car wash available too. Used the jet wash which was easy enough to use and reasonably priced at £6 for 12mins. Would be great to have the option to pay at the pump.

Went there this morning, queue looked horrendous, had to go past the queue to get to the roundabout near Aldi to join it. Was expecting carnage at the roundabout but someone was there directing the traffic. When I finally got to the pumps someone was directing cars to specific pumps. The whole experience was extremely well managed with good natured staff who were having to deal with large numbers of people in pouring rain. Can't say enough good things about this petrol station and the way it has been managed, and the staff during this unusual and difficult time for them.

I always go to this Sainsbury’s as they have extra petrol pumps and the nectar points. Sadly, recently a lot of the pumps have been closed creating extra queues. Be good if they were all open again.

Ive also always found the staff friendly :)

I’ve used this station for petrol before but today I tried out their self service jet wash. It had 5 settings and was £6 for 12 minutes.
