Tesco Petrol Station

Absolutely f#*king useless and that's being very polite.

Every time you go there 75% of the fuel hoses are out of order. All of their pumping stations on the forecourt have the ability to "pay at pump" but Tesco feel the need to have only two of them to use this advantage and disable the rest.

Forget going at night too, they stick cones everywhere to stop you getting fuel and leave only one pump open... which surprise, surprise is out of order.

This petrol station is a complete shambles and I now go out of my way just to get fuel elsewhere.

They have rectified the issue but found 2 pumps faulty which results in paying more than you received. Took video evidence the 2nd time (Go Pro camera - not mobile phone which obviously you can't use), they still insisted there wasn't an issue however the following day the 2 pumps where taped off and within a week an engineer repairing. On calculation this worked out to be £1000 a week extra income falsely claimed.
Update 26th Dec 2018 - another pump charging for fuel that isn't being dispensed. This time as nobody else was using the petrol station both staff members were able to observe first hand and no denying - they admitted there was an issue and proceeded to close that pump off.

Easy place to get fuel

Use this station daily as have to refuel. Find staff sometimes OK.. I would recommend collecting club card points on your credit card but pay for fuel by debit card. That way you get 1 point for every pound instead of 1 point per 2 pound by club card.

The pumps don't take contactless payment and the Tesco desk has a problem with phone payments, especially if they are for an amount over the contactless card limit. The pumps won't even successfully scan the Tesco loyalty card!. Still the petrol is the right price.

Was charged £120 today but only took diesel of £40.02. No idea who to contact as only a random customer services number that gets you nowhere.

Never felt the need to rate and review a petrol station before, however with what is going on with this unnecessary panic buying situation at the moment, I want to praise how this petrol station is dealing with it. When they have fuel, the staff are dealing and organising the queues really quite well. Clearly giving instructions about no jerry cans, and which pump to use. What this means is that even though there is the queues at the moment, you will not be in it particularly long! Well done Tesco Shoreham, really genuinely quite impressed.

Massive fuel reserves at Petrol station. However largely closed since Sunday so as not to interfear with Tesco's online deliveries and profits. Perhaps one day before Xmas these huge forecourts will reopened. Was big shopper at Tescos not anymore. Bye Bye
