At about 4 pm 9th March I used this petrol station for the first and last time. I had trouble with the pump and went in to get advice and help. It would not have been possible to be treated more off hand and rudely by both members of staff. I was asked to pay, I explained I had had trouble pre paying at pump and had had no petrol but was alarmed as an amount was showing at pump and I wanted to check I had not paid for no petrol! At this point over and over the man serving kept saying your card was declined VERY loudly. When I said it had not been and there would be no reason for it to be he shouted over to another equally rude man whom joined in. This was very embarrassing as just not so.
Rude, off hand an abusive wow what customer service! At this point because they were making me look so bad a woman behind me rudely asked me to get out which I did. If I had not been so low on petrol I would not have bought any but need to so tried again and that time it worked...with same card by the way..... NOT DECLINED.

A big thanks to the staff who allowed my elderly parents to leave their car tucked away at the side of the forecourt when their tyre split. It was too late and too cold for them to deal with the problem that night and they were grateful for your help and understanding.

Functional does the job , fuel prices are competitive. At peak times you are likely to be queueing for a pump however. Also the shop is well stocked and had a good range of home grocery essentials.

I visited 20/09/2021 just for a small click and collect parcel and I must say that I was very impressed with the young man serving, whilst working alone and clearly under pressure multi tasking and dealing with several customer service issues i.e a payment using a phone that would not be recognised, the usual pumps needing activation, customers at the window and in store, he still maintained a professional and very pleasant attitude and made time for an elderly gentleman who was taking a little longer than the more youthful of us to pack and pay for his groceries.

One of the few 24/7 places in the area and it has excellent staff, my favourite of which being Kasper. He is lovely.
